As a former CC employee, I thought Id chime in with my 2 cents. The company was...doomed from poor management all the way up to the CEO. However, I worked with some of the best people I have ever met. I know its the popular thing to smash CC but consider all the good people who are now unemployed because of poor management. Its not surprising that they're closing, but I ask you guys to at least consider the good people that worked there.

I had a similar situation happen to me, and the best way to get out of it (which worked for me) is to you or a lawyer (lawyers are better obviously) request the calibration log on the unit used by the officer to clock your speed. theres certain parameters that they have to follow or any tickets issued are void. I dunno if this will help but just thought id toss my .02 cents. good luck, tickets suck no matter what.

I havent talked about this on the forums much, but I've had more than my fair share of painkiller addictions. If you can take them as directed without craving them, chances are you'll be fine. If you find yourself wanting/needing more, and looking forward to taking them, then its time to do something about it. The fact that you're aware of the addictiveness is good tho, most people dont realize how badly addictive that shit is until they're already hooked. It took me 28 days in rehab to get off painkillers, xanax, and some other shit and I wouldnt wish that upon anyone. Just be totally honest with your doctor and if needed, talk to an addiction specialist. I think you'll be alright, you seem like you have your head on straight. Just keep talkin man, worst thing u can do is not talk to anyone about it. You'll be okay tho, and I know myself and other SMD members are here to help ya if u need anything.

I have a couple of the old original Xplod amps (2) 1002HX and (1) 2252HX and all can run bridged at 2 ohm or single channel at 1 ohm. I have a old school Sony HU as the garage deck and its decent, just the preout voltage is uber weak. When it comes to decks, its Pioneer FTW and if i had to choose another then Alpine FTW too.

I've only had two speeding tickets, one of which was a 45 in a 35 somehow the cop clocked my friends car and mine at the same time on a motorcycle... My other speeding ticket was 127 in a 50...total between court fines, tow fees, bail, etc. I spent about $1200 on that ticket. I had my radar detector on but by the time it kicked on it was already too late. The cop was a dick to me too, probably cuz I was younger at the time. He refused to call for his sargeant when I requested it, wrote a separate ticket for my tint for each window, wrote me up for having a system although he never heard it, just saw it, and for loud exhaust. Oh well, live and learn.
