what is the technical data that display on the stop screen? more than likely it is RAM, but with what little info you gave its hard to tell.

The HP's have a lifetime warranty and some people dont want the hassle of the price for shipping or what not, get them broke have them fixed and wall good switch, the reason i want this is for my internal network and server. will i see the bandwidth? no i wont see a transfer of the full possibility due to HD write times on my machines but yes i can achieve higher speeds than a 100Mbit can transfer. running direct to my tablet i transferred 340Mbit /s so roughly around 40.4Mbytes /s, a considerable difference when im streaming server to client based programs or backing up HDs.

Anyone know any good places to find some broke HP Switches? ebay has a few. im looking around and eventually i will buy one. but its gotta be a 1000, i dont want to run 100mbit.

did you ever check if any other devices worked in the usb?

try looking on the board for a serial number of manufacture name, your chipset drivers might not be installed right. but your mini dins should still work

nice M4 board, im running the same one, and a 4890 i see someone else has common sense on here enough to match chipset with GPU and CPU. -20c? thats umm crazy.

i wouldnt reinstall windows. so you've tried using an old Mini Din mouse and keyboard? (i have seen them go bad) and no luck? then you tried a usb mouse and keyboard? have you tried all the usb slots? do other devices such as flash drives work in the usb ports? what are the specs of the board? not trying to be difficult i just wana know what all the issues are and the things you have done so i can narrow down some things.

ive seen a bunch that Microsoft uses some left field driver for and some that it just refuses to use any driver for. while the generic PnP drivers work for 90% of the devices some just have to be difficult.

i know a thing or 2. i build, repair, maintain, mod, blah blah blah the usual stuff.

try running CCleaner. might have some cookies that just dont like you lol. can you log in on another PC? if so its prolly not the router.

if your motherboard has an onboard display remove the card a try booting with just the onboard. is the RAM properly seated in the slots? are the power cord plugged into the GPU properly is the card securely in the expansion slot? does it beep at you?

if the board was toast it wouldn't boot up, or it would bluescreen left and right. i suggest download the drivers for the keyboard and mouse from the manufactures website and install then reboot. sometimes windows drivers are garbage.

i have to disagree, you will never build up enough pressure to sustain a difference in the outside versus inside. hot air should not leak from any place it should be pushed out via a fan. a good air stream is the way to go regardless of the dust that will be gathered. you must not have parts that generate to much heat........because the time it would take for all the heat to "leak" out is time enough for the components to heat up a substantial amount and sustain a higher constant temp.

simple simple, check to see if the latest display drivers for your laptop are installed. plug the cable in to the laptop and tv then if it does not auto adjust press your FN+F4 keys. FN is function (usually right by the windows key on the keyboard) and F4 is the Display key, at least mine is F4. you should see on one of the keys if its not F4 a box with a line on each side, thats the key you want. let me know
