You are welcome hommie, one again, i would try different port lenghts until you find the one that sounds better to your ear, pvc 4" is cheap as hell!!!!

Well, for around 2.3 cubic feet 2 4" ports it´s more than enough IMO, i don´t think you´ll have ANY port noise with that, i would use PVC tubes and start playing the system, if it has port noise then you can always flare the pvc or buy original aeroports if you want to spend the money on them, about the tuning, yes i do think it should sound very nice, with that little box even tuning it at 25 hz i don´t think you´ll be able to play the lows strong, that´s why i´m suggesting you to tune it around 38 hz, but i might be wrong, so who knows? there´s always different opinions on this forum hehe.

So now Im confused... You dont want to do subs up port back because this is a daily driver and you want to hit lows. So Im wondering why a box that fires the woofers up and port back cant get low and be louder at the same time??? Ive ran both ways in my tahoe, and the sub up, port back boxes have always been louder, and when I was at a competiton my burps frequancy was 31-35hz dependent on box Makes no sense to me really.. Current box, loudest of them all, peaked at 32-34hz, powered by the same saz-4500, and would do a 151.1db legal pretty consistently. I tossed a 2nd amp on the subs and was .2db away from doing 154db legal after more tweaks before going to the last show. Torres calculator works awesome, you can find it on a sticky post in here, but, if the calculator said it needs to be 19.78" then it´s EACH tube, that´s one small box actually, i wouldn´t try to tune it very low, i would get something like 18" each tube so you end up around 2.3 cubic feet and 38 hz tuning.

What´s your impedance rise? we wired a ZX to 1 ohm for about 3 months on a friend´s car and it worked great, impedance rise was x3 tho so maybe we were lucky hehe, but maybe you could wire it to 1 ohm for a couple of minutes just to test how loud can you get by reconing the subs You do have a great alt and nice batts.

I would go with the DD´s , just build a yaris with a pair of them on an hifonics brutus 1600D amp and that thing sounds AWESOME!!

I do think it really depends on the car, a friend´s hyundai accent i build with subs/port forward sealed from the trunk sounded good but no as loud as it was before facing the trunk, teared that thing apart, turned around the box and yes, it was way louder facing the trunk than facing forward sealed. Also, another friend with a nissan sentra B-15 has a DD 3515 and a M2, well, sub/port forward without sealing the trunk it´s loud as hell, much more than facing the rear, so i do think every car and system is different

My best friend had 2 Bl´s "semi" fully loaded haha, anyways, he had 3.5 c/f per sub and we clamped 1500 watts to each sub for almost a year without any problems, hope this helps.

Why start a topic if you don´t want to read comments and opinions? you were expecting for everyone to say nice things about those piece of shit subs wich aren´t even that cheap? you can find better options even on the sale´s room FYI, i bought a DD 3518 for 280$ used and i can asure you it´s louder than those subs with 50% of the cone area, good luck with the build if you start it, make sure to start a build log
