    Agrred with loudciv... you can always sell batts that you bought if you don't need them for the new car but 10 volts isbad. After you fix your voltage problem then go and get a new hu.... Alpine ftw

    yea it does get expensive fast, but look around your local craigslist and on different sites. there are a ton of good deals to be taking advantage of and if your smart you could build your system for under 1000. just make sure to do alot of research before buying!

    depends what wood is were yo at. around here a big sheet of mdf is like $20. one of those sheets usually makes a box around 4-6 cubes so yea.... go by that id say if you use one sheet id would be around 50

    200 amp fuse, my d2400 , big 3??, terminals (check out darvex), what are you making the box out of (i suppose mdf but just checkin) add in mdf screw, wood glue, resign, mat, mids/highs?? think i got everything

    Name it please??? I highly doubt if its some off brand stuff that it will do anything over 1000 rms.... sorry but none of those amps are built to put out 5k Soo deets, maybe pics/vids would help. Also at the least if you are running 5k id say is 2, 220 amp alts. And some xs1400 (14 volt batts) EDIT: why would you make the thread if you don't have the stuff and maybe won't get it???
