  1. This is my favorite pic out of the whole lot that I took. I'm gonna throw this out there as a suggestion, and to tell why I like this pic so much. The color of the Sundown logo on the dust cap has a hue that is reminiscent of glow in the dark paint. I think it would be effing bad ass if Jacob offered his subs with glow in the dark logos on the dust cap. Think of how awesome this would be when showing off to the homies at night. Do it Jacob, do it! Just a thought.
  2. From the name you know and trust. It's big, but it's little. Wanna see what's inside that hole? Oh no, where's the coil?!.... Silly rabbit, it's underhung. More about how how it sounds is on its way. Stay tuned.
  3. Cool beans man. The wheels look cool. The chrome wheel lip gives it a little contrast between the wheel face and the rest of the SUV. The grill area looks a little dark in the pics. How does it look in person? Gonna stick with the black grill?
  4. Very nice. Congrats on the new woofer. Can't wait to see one in action.
  5. i find myself using JUST the front end with a little of the woofer in back. The up front bass is so killer, i don't need much for most "real" music (with musicians and instruments etc). When it comes to bumpin some rap music, i can lay into the bass a little more.....because i CAN. Oh, it is setup as a 1 seater right now. I have 4 presets though and i can switch over to something for 2 seats real easy. I just don't want to. I like it how it is. It sounds plenty good on the other side too but ya, its time aligned for the driver at the moment. Ha ha, cool. It sounds like someone is re-enjoying his whole music collection. From all I've seen and read this ride is a force to be reckoned with. Maybe it's time to shake things up in the SQ comp scene. Congrats on the killer setup.
  6. Cool beans! Interesting to see the eights up front playing sub duty along with the SMD in the trunk. Is this car setup to be a single or two seat SQ car?
  7. Looking good. Sundown has all sorts of new goodies in the pipeline. It's gonna be something else seeing these new subs in action.
  8. Nice. I would have rather have seen pics of it installed though.
  9. Not really. A refurbished MS-8 can be had for $400 shipped directly from the JBL store on ebay. A comparable Mini DSP unit is $500 plus the plugins and the power supply. By that point you're only $100 away from a Bit One which is intended for car use. I'd stick with the big boys on this one.
  10. I recently bought a pair of BTLs from Mac N Cheese. Excellent communication and shrewd business man. It's were properly packed, just like when they left the original manufacturer. The items arrived in a timely manner. A+. Unfortunately the shipping company damaged on of the items, not Mac N Cheese'es fault. I tried my hardest to get the issue resolve with the shipping company. They wouldn't budge and Mac N Cheese had to get involved. Needless to say he stepped up and took care of the situation. Great seller. Highly recommend. I could only wish that more sellers, both commercial and private would offer this kind of service. Thanks Mac N Cheese.
  11. The title lives up to the story. Cool story bro. Just messing. Congrats on the achievement.
  12. Who's going, what ya bringing, and are you gonna stop by and say, "Hi"? Info for those who need it. http://heatwaveshow.com/shows/2012-texas-heat-wave/
  13. Fhawk me! It takes me a month to build a ported box and six to get everything installed. This install is on par with the build quality of the Lexus it's going in. excellent work man.
  14. Cool beans. A little weird seeing bass heads enjoy the peace and tranquility. O_o I guess everybody needs a break from the everyday every once and a while.
  15. I like you style Meade, using the threaded inserts and plexi. It's all coming together great. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
  16. Looks like the start of a nice little SQ system that has the potential to rip your head off when your least expecting. Congrats on the new setup. Those Havocs have evolved into something special since their inception. Can't wait to hear more about the new SMD sub and SMD Jr. Keep on keeping on.
  17. Nice number. I couldn't see, but what frequency was that at?
  18. You can scope a warhorse off of one of the speaker outputs, you'll only see half of the sine wave. Unfortunately you wont be able to use the DD-1 because of this. On a side note, it's sad to see so many hating on a good working product that is outside of the box. Long live The Warhorse!
