    haha you sound like your in the exact situation as me! I had my brakes go out and I owed my parents for a trany fix already, but wanted a new amp I had my sub and box already but no amp so I just took it out, saved the gas milage till I got my new amp.

    I have always loved the look of an aeroport and they seem to get really loud but do they work well for daily driving or on music? or are they only good for tone burst?

    also remember that having a crap battery and a great alt wont solve voltage problems. one good bat and an alt is the best option with a second out back

    I had a kicker 1500 and I had the big 3 and a yellowtop under the hood. my voltage drop wasnt terrible but i had a 105 amp alt.
