Don't forget to brace the inside it be a rod, stud, resin. I might do a couple small wooden rods resined on mine, still not sure how exactly to brace. I forgot to calculate bracing into the calculations so I gonna try minimal but sturdy bracing.

yep, 1.76 net it's 1.5 rec. and since I'm under powering by a bit I went a bit bigger on the volume. Here's what I'm building right now. I am currently also in the process of making a box for my level 3 12's I haven't finished it but I do hope it sounds great. It's 1.75 ft^3 per sub and tuned to between 32 and 33 hz. Edit: And I have one right now for a single 12 actually installed and it's 1.76 ft^3 tuned to about 34Hz this one does sound great. I don't play into the upper 50hz or whatever but I think it should still do good. I'll give that a try sometime. And I listen to a lot of decaf and c&s and it sounds great!

If it's an amp worth repairing then go that route. Locally would probably be a lot cheaper but there is db-r http://www.db-r.com/ But don't give up just yet, maybe they want you to buy an amp from them. You did take it to them working, how is it that all of a sudden it just broke?

Maybe pics if the amp area will help a bit better. Maybe they didn't wire in the subs at all. If you have an extra sub laying around connect it by itself with no box to see if it works. If it does then start taking out the subs from the box to check the wiring in there. Also, one time one of my subs stopped working who knows why but after I took them both out of the box and re-wired like it was it worked again. Maybe the connection was just loose.

And by what you know of how everything is wired, nothing's missing? Maybe they got to a wire while screwing down? Check that the sub is turned on, on the head unit, sometimes they have that setting. See that the ground is on bare metal. Just my case when I screwed down an amp once to an mdf board the screws went past it and were touching metal so it was giving me noise that way. But, can't really say much without being there looking at it.

What do you mean by cleaned up? Did they just work around the amp or also behind the head unit?

I damn near pissed my pants once last winter when I turned on the LCD TV and got these colorful lines that almost looked like cracks and turned it off right away but after a while I turned it on again and it was fine. So just let the stuff warm up before using any of it to avoid any risks of damage
