Got a new car last week and it had a nice head unit in it, but it was missing the faceplate. Wouldn't you know it, they are impossible to find replacements for online too. So, if anyone happens to have a faceplate for a JVC KD-AR960 or a JVC KD-LH910 (they might be interchangeable, a chance I'm willing to take) just drop me a PM with a reasonable price and I'll take it off your hands.

We should start a lobby to make it illegal for companies to rate audio products with max ratings. Just saying...

Phase, subsonic, and low pass all look fine. Turn Bass EQ all the way down to 0. Turn the gain (or "Level") all the way down, then turn your remote bass knob all the way up and then adjust the gain on the amp. Do not turn the gain up too high on the amp until you have access to an oscilloscope or a DD-1. You would then need to test both your head unit and amp to set it right. If you follow the first link in my sig and read the second post in that thread it should make more sense.

Ooh, if it's cheaper than the Helix X-Just then it is already worth it. Although the X-Just is a sexy looking tool... I have an idea on what it could be, but I could be wrong... Part of me hopes it is, part of me hopes it isn't. Then again that's just cuz I wanted to make the first one.

I would definitely start saving money and spending wiser. I would get my damn GED and start preparing for some schooling. Oh, and I'd drop a new motor in the Saab right away instead of putting it off.

I have a crazy fucking idea... Wait a couple goddamn months after the game has been out and buy it used for half the price. My only issue with games nowadays is they put WAY to much emphasis on online play. I miss playing split screen story mode, not many games have that anymore. Oh, and they need to make more games available on the PC.

Quick solution; use only 1 coil from the DVC sub... In truth though, don't do it, different subs have different TS specs and will cause a slight bit of cancellation.

I installed an AQ2200 last weekend, after I scoped it I noticed the clipping light is spot on. One thing that does make a difference though is whether or not you get full RCA voltage out from the head unit. My suggestion is to try to get a hold of a DD-1 or a scope and tune your head unit to find it's maximum volume, then tune the amp. Many times I've tuned an amp and had it sound like crap until we scoped the head unit and got full power out of it's RCAs.

AQ earbuds are really disappointing. There isn't shit for bass below 40Hz.

They came free with my friend's AQ2200 because of a delay, and he let me have them. So no complaints on price.

Scoped the wall socket today for shiggles. 122.7 volts at 59.97Hz. But it was clipping! WTF WPS?!

Maybe I should start my own prefab box company. I'll get a wood CNC and build assloads of different boxes that are all of appropriate sizes. Sending them off as pre-built or assembly required. Then again, I just want the excuse to buy a wood CNC.
