  1. my eyes! i feel like you were screaming that whole post. i actually didn't get to the end of it, did anyone see what this guy was asking
  2. ]agreed, this happened to me too, i didnt bump it for 8 years but its been about 2 and its totally fine
  3. no way he spent 5k on a sub box. tahoes are nice, but theres no way he'd be driving one, even if it was the nicest tahoe ever, if he can afford to drop 5 stacks on a BOX.
  4. woah didn't expect that! looks sweet, that much cone in that tiny of a car?!
  5. well.. i watched the whole thing. it was very interesting
  6. the "stock paint" gave it up. and then on top of that... steve meade driving a prius? ahahahahhahaha
  7. whats the word boss? we know your busy but don't let these things stay on the back burner too long
  8. steve you should be good, both trucks use dual H13 bulbs (9008)
  9. haha agreed good luck with those pieces. it should work though
  10. could the vibration really smoke it like that? its not like it wasn't bolted down right?
  11. honestly, I'm not sure. RCAs are signal wires, they do not deliver power to your speakers. If there is a kink somewhere in the line or a broken pin... then you may be getting the same voltage on a meter but not the same output from the amp. regardless, it sounds to me like this is either a connection issue or an amp issue. the best you can do right now is change out the rcas and the speakers just to see if it fixes. then you should move on to the 4 seperate channels on the amp. its possible you have one bad channel and its causing the bridge of say 1/2 to be less powerful than 3/4. if thats the case, your amplifier is shot. depending on what your budget is looking like, for 130 dollars id just get a new one, or invest in something better for a little more. i dont know much about amp repairs but on a 130 dollar amp (amazon prices im sure you could do better somewhere) i wouldnt put money into repairing it. also, i have a Pioneer GM-6400F its 50x4 RMS just like yours and id part with it for a real good price. pm me if your interested. (just figured id offer because your having a problem with your 50x4... i know this isnt the f/s section but cant help myself i hate good equipment just sitting in my house not being used)
  12. check all the connections, speaker to amp, terminal to wire. its probably bad RCAs and one side is getting a cleaner signal as a result. one time, my left channel was playing much stronger than my right and it was just a loose power wire in the back (the connection wasnt fully secured)
  13. thats amazing with that many screens i wouldnt know where to look great work
  14. much respect, i took the test for the New York City FD but got on the PD instead. any law enforcement or fire fighter gets props from me.
  15. sometimes people run a set of seperates off channels 1 and 2 and a sub off the bridged 3/4. however, i must agree with the others, you should get a mono amp that is designed to push a subwoofer. your suggestion can be done but it isn't recommended, simply because running subs isn't what a 4 channel is designed for.
  16. in a suv ported is the way to go obviously. i don't think you'll be disappointed but don't expect hairtricks. i dont want to seem misleading, they sound great but you dont feel them the way you would more expensive, bigger subs.
  17. theyre fantastic. i'm only changing them out because i sold them to my friend and i'm doing a big rebuild. ive had them for over a year and theyre still not soft. they sound great, play really low. im surprised how loud they get for the sealed box theyre in. i say go for it.
  18. holy shit your right! my bad. im currently running 4 of the ones your looking at though. the ones on my build page are new subs lol.
  19. i love pioneer shit, i think it has great sound overall. my woofers get low and are tight and punchy enough for rock music. I have them strapped to 2 1200W amps.. I should be running more power too. AND mine are in a sealed box but its because they're in the trunk. true about the cone area, but with that attitude you should get the cheapest 18 you can find and call it a day haha. getting a good setup is more than just a big ass speaker. you might want to take that 200 and buy just one 15 and run it on that amp. i promise one properly powered woofer will sound better than 2 underpowered ones.
