Got my XL12 hitting pretty hard.

Ray designed it for me. The soft parts were at their end but it did a 142.x on music I think, with a trunk wall. Loudest box I ever had in that car. -

I ran a 12" XL in about 2.5 cubes with a 6" aero tuned to 35 off of a DC 3.5k. Ended up building a 2.2 cube box with a slot port. I think 44 inches of port tuned to 36 or so. Slammed. I'm sure it sounds good but I found out the hard way I was choking the sub when the soft parts gave out. -
I got it for PS4 since there wasn't another racer available til spring. I actually really enjoyed last years most wanted as far as a need for speed game. It's like they combined hot pursuit from a few years ago with that. I'm going to keep playing it but it's always online, you can't pause it, there is customizing and upgrading but extremely limited as always it seems. The graphics are pretty good and controls are ok but not great, it was my free game from buy two get one last week so I'm hoping its worth that much. Ha

Because when you're playing a shooter the surround sound helps with knowing where people. Plus it makes everything more immerse, almost all games have a pretty good 5.1 soundtrack on them now. Even though its in headphones you can still sense where the sound is coming from. I believe most Best Buys have a display with Turtle Beach headphones. You could go try the virtual and actual surround sound ones out to see what you think.

As far as getting something when its brand new, I know Sony and I believe Microsoft both offer 1 year warranties. If hardware failure is going to be a problem chances are it will fail within the first year of use since that is usually the heaviest usage being shiny and new. I cannot wait for GTA V and will play the living crap out of it, but it will likely be one of the last PS3 purchases I make. GT6 should have been next gen but that studio works in a different spacetime and take way too long to develop the game. Hoping Drive Club and the crew will get me by with racing until Gaiki or GT7. Also excited about Infamous and Destiny next year.

I know there's quite a few threads on the new systems all mixed up. Wanted to make one just for people buying PS4 around the launch. Not sure how many friends I have getting one so curious who's going to have one to play. Let me know your PSN name and what games you're getting with it and I'll make a list. PSN:RByers8252 Games: AC: Black Flag COD: Ghosts or BF4. Debating this one still Killzone: Shadowfall NFS: Rivals Resogun PSN: ProMaxx316 Games: COD: Ghosts BF4 PSN: CalamityBuster Games: COD: Ghosts BF4 Knack AC: BF Killzone: SF Indies

So who's spending their simoleons on Ghosts? Think I'm getting it for PS4 but haven't decided if I'm going to try Battlefield this next gen or stick to COD. New multiplayer trailer looks awesome. Also the special editions. Both include the season pass this time. $119.99 $199.99 Multiplayer Maps Gameplay Strikezone Octane Whiteout

I'd just go with what you want. If most friends are on or going to one or the other pick that one. From a game stand point I think Sony has had the better exclusives, albeit Gran Turismo takes too damn long for a turn around. As far as multiplatformers go they will likely be identical on both systems. Sony exclusives will likely make use of the better memory though. As far as the kinect being on and internet... you can turn kinect completely off in settings, and program it to do only what you want. And the internet connectivity, they will likely do away with that quietly but its not like you have to turn it on every day, its just if you leave it off for 2 days and turn it on it will likely need to connect to verify the system. I'm not a huge fan of that but it doesn't effect me. No different then gaming on Origin or Steam on PC. I'm sticking with PS because I'm a fanboy and already have a annual plus membership and Vita and plan to keep my PS3 for a while. And if price is the deciding factor I think you should rethink that, its only a $100 difference for a console that will hopefully last you 5-7 years. I throw away a lot more then that on fast food every month.
