Hey guys I'm working on the build for my friends 2011 Jetta (Build log and such later) and we cannot get the door panels off if our lives depended on it. I have only found one write up on the removal but it was very vague. Door removal link He shows some screws that I cant and he also never says if you pull the door panel up or out towards you. So if anyone can help that would be great. I would like to get alot of this done today since I have like 9 hours.

You would still have to put the head unit in the storage bin however..... Unless you whip up a crazy outside/waterproof bin for it.

Build a rack to put it in one of the corners behind the wheel. Either a simple wooden rack or fiberglass it.
