  1. Yea trucks! We do what we want. And don't worry, my e-brake doesnt work at all either. My mom accidently drove once with the brake all the way down and now it is worn down to nothing. Who needs them?
  2. You might need bracing but besides that the numbers look ok.
  3. You wired something wrong. Some headunits have dfferent colors. Check the manual, then check your solders. /end
  4. Name a worthwhile hobby that isn't expensive when you get deep into it.
  5. ouch...... which Korea is this from? Because that really determines if it is even remotly credible.
  6. I have always drilled my own. There is never an existing hole big enough.
  7. The only problem I can see is keeping them cool. Just alot of fans I guess.
  8. Use the existing panel as an outline and cut a new one. Look at Rell's door panel build. You would probably do something like that.
  9. how so?i know i need an alt, but is there anything else i could do? Are you suggesting a bigger alt or throwing it on a charger overnight?
  10. Is it just your mind playing tricks on you? Is it ACTUALLY quieter.
  11. Trial and error is a good enough learning tool for me. Steve describes very well in a few videos how to make rings with a router.
  12. Hey guys I'm working on the build for my friends 2011 Jetta (Build log and such later) and we cannot get the door panels off if our lives depended on it. I have only found one write up on the removal but it was very vague. Door removal link He shows some screws that I cant and he also never says if you pull the door panel up or out towards you. So if anyone can help that would be great. I would like to get alot of this done today since I have like 9 hours.
  13. You would still have to put the head unit in the storage bin however..... Unless you whip up a crazy outside/waterproof bin for it.
  14. Build a rack to put it in one of the corners behind the wheel. Either a simple wooden rack or fiberglass it.
