Tax Refund Sale - Up to 50% Off!
Smurfboy replied to SonicHD's topic in Sonic Electronix - Great Selection Great Prices
ZX400.1 + S12L34 (50% off) = $279.94 ^^ In my humble opinion, that is actually pretty good deal. I've thought long and hard about getting this deal for my wife (her birthday's this month and our 5th anniversary is also this year.) I think she'll going to love it. -Smurfboy -
Here's information about what I got thus far: Truck: Frontier, Nissan ex cab 1999 (2.4L engine) (see picture below) Engine: All stock at the moment (Big three will be done soon) Subwoofer: A single Solo X 12" Amp 1: ZX2500.1 (birthsheet @2,752wrms) Amp 2: ZX350.4 (birthsheet @ 449wrms) Speakers: KM Components Type of setup: Daily driver Budget: unlimited I've searched on XS power site to see what's the biggest battery can be put under the hood and this is what it came up to me: BCI Group # 24. http://4xspower.com/bci_group/24/ Question #1: Will this single battery be significant for a whole thing (including truck and the system) or am I require to have at least the second battery in the rear? Reason why I ask is because solo X 12" only sees no more than ~2,000 watts (according to the kicker manual) and my speakers only sees no more than 180 wrms. Question #2: I was looking at the price of chargers and my heart stopped: $300+ for a charger?! XD Is there any cheap (but good) charger out there? I do not want to void warranty or anything if unproper charging the battery. Question #3: I must be blind but I did not see any H.O alt on XS site. Do you have it for sale? Thanks for your time reading and answering my questions. I really appreciate it. -Smurfboy Picture not mine but same truck I got:

Sonic Coverage of CES 2013
Smurfboy replied to SonicHD's topic in Sonic Electronix - Great Selection Great Prices
I'm surprise that Kicker doesn't offer any subwoofer with 2,000+ watts for 2013. I'd love to see them making a circle subwoofer that can take 2,000+ watts. It's something they haven't done it, haven't they? CVX is close but no cigar. -
Sonic Coverage of CES 2013

The Kicker CompR/RT looks very nice (design-wise). Power-wise, it seems that they're up to par with L7 series? I was surprised to see that CompR 15" handle up to 1,200 watts; 12"= 800watts; 10"= 600 watts and 8"= 400 watts. I'd love to order at least a pair of 12" and see how it go in vented box, however the only thing I fear the most is the price. Based on previous subwoofers in the past, Kicker price is always bit too high compare to other brands. Guess we'll have to wait and see about that. And as for the Kicker amplifiers, seriously, I LOVE the new looks of KX and CX series! -

What's up? I just recently got a single Solo X12" and ZX2500 and now the only thing I'm missing is the wires kit. I searched through Kicker Product on the site and found what I'm looking for: Kicker 09PKD1 (see link below). I just wanting to make sure to see if that kit is going to, basically, cover everything I need for Solo X + ZX2500 (not including the Big-Three under the hood). http://www.hifisound...ion-Install-Kit Also while we are at it, I need someone help me find the right wires kit for the speakers on the two-door truck. I got Kicker Marine Components KM6250.2 and ZX350 amp (4-channel). Right now, I'm looking at Kicker 09CK84. Sounds good? http://www.hifisound...annel-RCA-Cable Thank you for your time! I am very exciting to hook up everything in my truck real soon! -Smurfboy

SMH. People like to exaggerate too much about "Internet" thing. Of course not everything is to be believed on the Internet. However, since Kicker is an official site, it is safe to believe whatever it says as long as it has backup information; it just that many of you sorely hate Kicker for whatever reason(s) (which is nothing news and I'm not surprise. ). However, let's remember that this thread is not about Love-or-hate Kicker subject. It's that I was just made some wild suggestion to Steve. That is all. Anyway, back on topic...

*Yawn* You worry too much. Steve is a pro. He knows how to handle anything. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, someone from Kicker.com hooked up four, KX1200.1 to a pair of S8"L7 and reached 150dB without a single problem. Just to show you that it's all about installation with a nice of knowledge in the background.

Hey there. I searched and came up with nothing much in this forum. I'm just wondering if there are any comic book-lovers in here like me. Currently, I'm following Wolverine & The X-Men and Gambit #1 (just got released this month). And last week, I ordered a single first-solo-issue of Wolverine (mini-series) in a hard plastic case (9.6 near-mint, graded by CGC!) and Stan Lee, himself, signed his name on it! I paid more than $300 for it (yes, you heard me right. $300+ for a SINGLE comic book); several people have asked me why it costs so much: it's because: 1)The issue in a Near-Mint condition (9.0 or higher) is extremely rare. 2)Stan Lee's name on it. Any issue that he signs his name on it, the value of comic book goes up big time. The issue should arrive my home this upcoming Wednesday. Once it gets here, I will post pictures of it for you all guys to see it! You see, I'm a die-hard fan of Wolverine and my goal is to collect every single issue Wolverine is in it, although trying to get his first-apperance in Hulk #181 (9.6NM CGC) is quite difficult because it costs nearly $5,000 (ouch).

I have installed Kicker marines speakers in truck and they do the job. If you actually check with kicker for speakers that can play real loud, for eg playing with trunk open They would recommend trying out the KM 6500.2 and additional KM6500, these can get really loud. So if you want to install them inside your car, go ahead. Just set the crossovers correctly and do rated power or slight more. They sound really loud. Hm, interesting. I am willing to give it a try and see how it goes! (If I don't like it, then I can always sell it to someone else and get RS series or something). So if you were in my shoe, what setup would you go for in my truck? I was looking at KM Components (KM6250.2) from Kicker.com; still unsure about which Kicker amp to get for it. Thanks again!! Once I figure out which setup, I will order 'em soon!

Anyone know a Mario B Jones from Houston TX? He's a scammer!
Smurfboy replied to cc_audio's topic in Buyer / Seller Feedback
@CC_audio, I just want to say I am sorry to hear what you had to go through that terrible experience. I do sure hope you will get your money back soon. I think the police should do something about it if couple of here (aka eye-wintesses) call and explain to them there in TX. God, I really hate scammers, though! Good luck with everything and keep us posted.
