  1. Looking for replacement alternator for a GM 325 motor (5.3 V8), 2001 Chevrolet Z71 4x4, in the range of 200-250amp, budget is $250-$300, negotiable. Let me know what you got.
  2. what the fuck do you think ive been doing? sitting around with my thumb up my ass?? professionalism went out the window a week ago.. i txt him EVERYDAY 2 or 3 times a day..and he continues to blow me off so i see it as your post was NOT needed I was going to give you helpful advice, 'till I saw this. You have your money, if he doesn't want the box, take an axe to it and leave the pieces on his doorstep. If it's bothering you that much, scrap the wood and only charge him the price of the wood. But when you ask us for advice, and turn around and start with an attitude like that, you can take that box, take a shit in it, and shove it up your ass. Talent is only a small portion of success. Being an ass is a complete fail. Oh, and if you want to be a prick, I'll be one too. This is in the wrong f*cking section. This doesn't have to do with general audio, it has to do with enclosures. There's a section for that.
  3. Alright, that got your attention But seriously, it's taken me a while to really realize it, but I NEED to go on a diet. I've cut myself back to one meal a day (big or small) but that's not really what I need. I'm planning on drinking alot of water (and water only), cutting my portions to small meals, and definitely going to be working out daily (Probably walk a mile around the dog park every day so I can take my dogs out as well). But as far as the food, what do you guys recommend that is simple, tastes good, and helps cut back calories? I'm open to suggestions.
  4. Forgot to ask in your other topic, what vehicle? You did post it in the Sundown section... Long day I guess man?
  5. Looking for at least 2, possibly 4 SD250.2's. Needs to be in good working condition, very minimal cosmetic damage. Thanks!
  6. Got it. That's exactly what I was looking for/needed. Thanks!
  7. Looking for a nice solution to measure how much power my PA system actually draws from the wall. Each speaker has a label stating 100-120v 1.0A, and although they are class D amplifiers, I highly doubt they draw that little power, but if they do, that makes them all the sweeter.
  8. 8's my bad, haha. Was a long day when I posted this...Trying to have a nice clean/loud setup for my truck without taking up too much space.
  9. Lol, nice! The weather has been shitty. Would have loved to have that link last night at 4:30 in the morning...or on March 2nd...
  10. Looking for 2 pairs of 6.5 comps and 5.25 comps. Crossover not required but would be nice. Throw me some offers.
  11. That's actually the idea I was playing with. I live in an apartment complex, but set up a secure network with an antenna outside that the computer automatically connects to and syncs up with. That way, if someone steals the truck/any equipment, it has the video right there. There's a way to do it, just have to make it a nice cost-effective setup...
  12. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/forum/8-head-units-processors-and-eqs/ or http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/forum/9-amplifiers/ IIRC, this section is for pro/home audio (concerts, home stereos, etc.) just saying
  13. Technically in most states, yes. Here in KY, Kentucky Statute 189.140 subsection 2 states.. As for how Wisconsin's laws go, I have no idea. That's just an example...lol
  14. Yeah, I'm sure, trust me, I'm not a complete idiot. All I asked for was what material is stronger than MDF, and got my answer. Don't sit here and criticize why my box is flexing, I know why, and I'd rather just learn on my own. Got my answer, that's all I need. Kthanks.
  15. So, just like every other virus, it's directed towards people who are too stupid to realize all that shit is fake...dumbasses.
  16. Don't buy it. If it's a government operation, it should have a .gov domain IMHO. Don't trust it.
  17. No pics, videos in my build log. It was virtually thrown together but I did the best I could with it with what I had. Going to do it right next time. Bracing is 1x1 squares of wood top-bottom, and one from that to baffle. Hard to explain, it was a 5 minute fix because my top is one long piece...
  18. That's what I hear alot, just didn't know what other choices there would be for box building.
  19. Try 1500 watts dead on it needs rebuilt, but instead of just doing MDF again and risk having the same issues, I'd like to do it right and still be stronger than what I have now... But seriously, let's not turn this into a complaint on how shitty it is. I just want suggestions to stronger wood that would work for car audio...
  20. Well, I give up. Tried bracing the shit out of my box, and the fucker still flexes (those SA-8's get down big time ) plus I need to redesign the box to fit under the seat better...what 3/4" material would work better than MDF? What do you guys use?
  21. Love the idea man. Noone else really said anything, but it's always good to see someone giving back to the community. I'll do what I can when I get some more cash flowing.
  22. Yep but mine was just to assist (was only about $1200, my dad was paying for most of it), so I'm not too worried. (virtually) Free credit history
