Has anyone built a small enclosure behind the door panel for an 8" or something similar bc if so I would like to see pics. I'm planning on doing this to my doors and just curious and how the setup looks and stuff. Thanks.

Depending on what you plan on doing you should be fine. Although I have seen some trunk/wing flexes that cause the spoiler to crack but never come off.

4 15's would a 9ish cubic ft box be good for 4 15s though? To the op sorry not trying to thread jack or anything just thought it would be easier to ask my questions here as well since its a similar situation instead of starting a new thread.

Solid advice there. One of my friends has this same problem and always comes to me and everyone else we hang with but he never trys to change anything and wonders why girls don't like him. Do like he said and just be you and do your own thing but also realize when things aren't working and willing to switch up your game a little bit.

I may just keep the IA's since I already have them and had a guy design me box plans. I was just really interested in AQ after I stumbled across them. Guess I'll use AQ on the next build or something.

I had this problem with my L7's wired the same you have. My problem was the woofer that was getting hot was at a weird ohm load bc I hooked up the coils wrong so I say double check that. After I looked up the wiring diagram supplied by kicker and wired my subs again paying more attention I never had that problem again.

I mean I'm happy with what my original plans were(running two 18s). I just thought it may look better with four 12s vs two 18s. One other reason I have thought about this is bc I found out about AQ after I already bought the IA's and since I found out about AQ I've been wanting to try them out. So I guess my main reasons for considering the switch would be looks and curious about the product. If there's not going to be much difference between the two ideas on the outcome sound then I'd be willing to try and sell my 18s just to give AQ a try. I'd honestly switch for two AQ 18s of the same caliber just bc of the fact I want to try them lol.

So you're saying I should keep the 18s bc they will be louder and move more air
