  1. and crescendo is stocking the 5.5k tomorrow morning for 879
  2. then you failed in this thread, your entire thread had no point at all.. that was a complete waste
  3. ok guess i'll explain one last time have them facing the same with the sub, but furtherest away from the sub.. hopefully you can understand it this time around because i already mentioned to you once already if you're too close to the ports, you're gonna have unloading issues
  4. if you want a 1 ohm final load go buy yourself another 4 ohm dvc sub and your problem will be solved.. a single 4 ohm dvc sub can only be wired at 2 ohm or 8 ohm nothing more nothing less
  5. have them facing the same way with the subs and to be honest with you, the ends you have on your ports are not technically flared... you're still gonna end up with some port noise
  6. i have a 4 inch that i can sell you it hasn't been used at all, it just sits in my room i can sell you 10 bucks flat straight up
  7. Ive been told everything, put them closest to the sub on the same side where the sub will be or put them on the opposite side from the sub. But since the sub is facing the driver, do I put the port on top of the box (facing trunk top) or on the side (facing quarter panel) or facing towards the driver? I tried to buy some flared ports, they were 14$ a piece on amazon plus $5 shipping partsexpress.com is 10 bucks a piece plus free shipping
  8. i would place the ports furtherest away from the sub, if they're too close you'll have unloading issues
  9. why didn't you just buy the aero ports from partsexpress.com, they're 10 dollars a pop, get 2 for 20 and it explains you where to cut the ports and comes with flares too lol
  10. the original belt should be fine.. there are reasons the new alt has smaller pulley on it... more output at idle..
  11. here are clamp tests results on these bad boys http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/ca/84024-crescendo-bass-clef-series-clamp-results.html
  12. as maliboom said on prices, that is firm 579 and 879 respectively and yes they can run at up to 18 volts
  13. get the rockford fosgate 1500 bdcp, it does the same power for 1 ohm and 2 ohm
  14. For those of you who have been waiting on these amps due to their website not being updated... here you go Title says it all, amps will be back in stock as of Monday and will start shipping by then... this is for all their newer models.
  15. also another part of the rules i believe is you can only have one bump per day
  16. or you could always use different size ports... 5 sets of 4 inch aeros....that would probably sound better but tuned to 28 ish
  17. 8 inch round port 25 inches long will get you around 28 or 29 hz maybe
  18. holy crap 35 dollars just to ship 51 pounds of damp pro.. lol the 15% discount just covered the shipping cost and then some
  19. they're both the same in price and quality, but dc power does offer a 2 year warranty, and i think mechman has the adjustable voltage regulator (not sure if its included or not) www.mechman.com www.dcpowerinc.com
  20. brackets aren't include in the price of the alt, they cost addtional green bills...
