  3. theres a big cali following on here.. im from nor cal..stockton to be exact, theres alot of guys in bakersfield shafter fresno salinas sacramento.. and a whole bunch down there by you too...

  5. Sounds decent ..... is the boxbuilder experienced? Make sure he doesn't cut corners
  6. You can find used quads for a couple hundred.. new from dc is like 3 hundred or so..tahoe is your best bet sir.. or yukon
  7. Who's leaving when ? I'm going down Friday.. with all my teamates....:-) staying on the south east side in a shithole
  8. How's it leakn? Did you cut the hole wrong? Isn't there a gasket on the sub? You can use the caulk cord or the gasket material..but gorrilla tape works on the outer edge well if your flush mounted
  9. If you can't find a pair your best bet would be to find some blown ones and recone..and the ones you have are 5 spiders 3med 2 stiff
  10. I was having protect issues and then blowing subs... if you run multiple subs with different wires and overpower them like I was then I can see the possibility of to small of wire or copper and aluminum being a possible issue...on a average system I doubt there ..would be any issue ..for exampl if you run 2k through one side of the voicecoil through copper wire then run 2k to the other voicecoil with aluminum would there be a possible issue? I don't know but id rather not try it
  11. it doesn't have a dome light etc? Shock sensor won't cut it you would get false trigger all the time... pin each door and trunk
  12. My aqmp repair guy always asked me that questions when I was having amp issues...he said don't mix them...not sure if it matters that much I know copper is less resistent
  13. All I can say is they are supercaps...I'm not to familiar with them I just got them...I will post results if I gain or lose dbs with them
  14. D series isn't meant for underhood s series are... I've had 2 xs batterys swell up on me from heat...heat shield wrap will help
  15. Pretty sure rusty rob an ana will be at lake perris with me and some other team dc members...I'm sure we will put it down like autorama
  16. The caps I have are 2.5v wired in series with a bank of 7 on each amp...I run 14v so I charge up to 16.8...that's why I ran 7..you can't overcharge them...and a bank of 6 was rated at 3400amps for 3-5 seconds...
  17. wat are those?? Those my friend are what a lot of usac competitors use.... I'm trying them out they seem promising in theory I will find out soon enough at finals..and yes they're installed bill..results soon
  18. Id say yes most caps do not work go with a good battery
  19. some caps work some dont..like its been said you have to have good electrical to begin with..i use these and they are strong. i accidently shorted one and it almost blew my thumb off
  20. 3x ssnw or ss3-4 an 149.9.....for finals ss3-4 and 149.9....I'm ready as I can be
  21. I'm running all 14v..and yes it affect my steering sensor which in turn opens up power steering fluid flow and makes my steering very light at high speeds which is dangerous...it will switch lanes on me etc...
  22. I don't drive above 16.2 cause it messes with my steering and I was too lazy to adjust it up..I've heard of spl competitors that clean all there connections after every burp..well I was dipping pretty hard at autorama..cleaned my frame grounds and it got much better..I'm goin to clean all battery bussbar connections and see what happens..like I said maybe batterys just drained quick. It was weird thos voltage was a stable 16.2 but after 1 or 2 burps dropped to 15.6.. maybe heat? I don't know
  23. I keep rpms up to at least 2k plus.. only like a minute between :-)
  24. Today I did a lil testing on the tl.. 1st burp I gained .2 did a 156.8...starting voltage was 16.2 and barely dropped.well after that dbs dropped to 156.3 and voltage was dropping a lot... also charging voltage dropped to 15.6...do you guys think I have bad connection..I have 3 alts 6 batterys and 10 runs of 0g..I mean could corrosion build up and cause a drop under heavy pull? Did batteries just get low? It was weird never had such a big drop before..it usually is just a tenth or 2
