I went to an alt and battery place the guy that works their know is stuff but no audio I ask him can he up the amps on my stock he said " oh yeah I can get it to 200amps" but he never gave me a price and he also said something about a diode it'll keep it from making a whining noise to the amp and I never heard that before so ask a buddy he got his alt done same alt amp his don't whine.has anyone heard about this I got 1/0 everywhere that should not make it whine to the amp I d...

Im getting a whine to my system also eversince I put on my 250 amp alt. esp. since I put on a adj. regulator and I have it set to 15v. Im just going to put on a couple of pac rca noise filter adapters before they go into my mids/tweets amp. that should hopefully clear it up.

i did a buddy truck he got the alt done at the same place an its 200amp I just did the big 3 with 1/0 it stop I heard it got to do with the 8ga wire can't handle the amps it causes the wire to have a back feed.

I put 6k on my sister car bright as hell but I like my 8k with led switch back white/yellow looks sweet an people all the time wants to know what I did to make them switch from white to yellow flash

oh nice stuff.. haha i just thought of the most getto thing ever. pulling the bolt out that clamps to the battery terminal. turning it sides ways and bolting a m6 through there into the battery post haha! before you know the wire just gets clamp by the terminal but I always had problem with the wire wiggling out of the batt terminal so I said fuck it just went to local part store pick up 4 of them 2- 2+ cramp those things and use the the 2 bolts to hold.the 2 stock 8ga wire is on one bolt and my 1/0 on the other bolt

just go to an auto parts store or shca just get copper terminals an just use the bolt I have a stock battery that has the top post and I just use terminals an bolt to it sorry for the crappy pic so when I do get a d2700 i just use the bolt

It was a matter of time before you go all hid, I got 9007-3 bi-xenon hi/lo 8k on mine its bright white with a hint of blue just looks right.

as long as its pure copper it should not corrosion I got copper terminals for 4yrs still looks brand new
