    I'm looking to do about the same in my 02 civic. imo I would do 2 XL 12s facing forward sealed off from the trunk on a 5k.

    Wasn't sure if he was talking about the m1s or m2s? I've been told by a dc rep m2 is 600w rms. That's what Im running to each of my lvl2m2 8s. Been running great.

    Wish i could help ya buddy Im in the same boat. 02 civic (2) DC Audio lvl2m2 8s RE Audio XT 2000DE-V3 I need to do big 3, upgrade batt, and would like to upgrade alt. Lights dim like no other.

    37.7 here. But i need to tune lower.

    Ok call me nuts cause it didn't have condensation on them the second time around. But i bet it was caused from humidity. Hope you all enjoyed a good laugh over this all. Lol

    Yep id also say clipping. I recently suffered the consequences of not setting the gains with a oscope or dd-1. I burnt a wire in half on the sub and had to recone. The sub was maybe 2months old. Best turn gain down asap til you get it tuned properly.

    Yes i understand that. Thats why i posted about this. I thought that this was impossible. but the motor was cold and had condensation on it. Dont know what else to say about it. I was hoping someone would shed some light on this? Either having something to do with the system or otherwise this shouldn't happen. oh well maybe i am a nut?

    I figured the humidity but doesn't seem too humid outside. its 80 out and car has been setting for about a day. it was hot in the car. but didn't make since why the motor was cold?
