I'm not really thrilled about them eliminating classes the way they did. I think its B.S. I understand what Wayne is doing but, he's screwing a lot of the competitors who hav spend $$$$$$. I hope this doesn't discourage you and Anna from competing anymore. It would be a big loss for Db Drag and the West Coast for you not to be competing anymore.

Yes I do! Been there done that. When we down to LA last season it happen to me. My truck made it all the way down to LA no problem the day before. The day of the show the starter takes a crap (so I thought). We pop the clutch and get it to the show but, all day had to pop the clutch to get into the lanes. It sucked. but we did what we had to. Turned out to be some frayed wires.

Hey Man Whats going on. Forming a team is easy. Its keeping the points together that gets tricky. When you register for Db Drag you put your team name and then the person for instance: Team Bassick - Kimo at each show you go to make sure the judge spells the name correctly. Wayne is pretty good about consolidating all your previous scores if you competed under different names but, it makes it easy if its just done correctly from the beginning. As far as the SPLMAX cup goes your going to need to keep checking the splmaxcup page and see when Sam Horne is going to update it. Now as far as teams being used for the SPLMAX CUP it was only a rumor and a question that Sam Horne asked. Good Luck man I hope that was what your looking for.

I've said in a thread here before so I'm just repeatin myself but its ok. My personal rule of thumb when coming to speakers is to go with a speaker only manufacture. Polk Audio, Boston Acoustic, Image Dynamics etc. However, the Kicker line isn't bad either so I don't know bro its pretty much a toss up. I've heard and have owned all of the above and they all sound great. I guess it just depends on what your looking for.

Get a hold of the rep and see if they can recone your old l7's and pick up a pair of new l7's. I'm sure will be more than accomodate that idea. they should issue you an RA# (Return Authorization) and be able to tell in detail what you want done.

Hell Yeah when you finish building that thing go show my cousin Quintin. I was telling him to go with RE a while back but, since Fi dropped on the scene I haven't gotten a chance to tell him. The Fosgates that I've heard are Loud. No doubt in my mind. Again if thats what you like go for it man. Good Treble/Highs definately. Would I run them? probably not. I have a different take on buying speakers. My point was that you should probably go for the components just beacause they are going to give you better sound than coaxials will. If you want it just loud both coaxials and components will do that. The components are a better buy and will ultimately compliment anything you put in down the road.

If Rockford is what you like than go with it. Personally I wouldn't worry about getting bass out of your door speakers if your going to upgrade them. Just worry about them sounding "good". Since you plan on upgrading the sub your gonna wish then you had better door speakers. Anything worth doing, Is worth doing right........ Good Luck. On a side note, where is Williams CA?

I would say call George at Atomic but, that would probably really get you confused. Did they give you the spec sheet for the Woofer? Plug those numbers into a box building program and go from there.
