  1. I can't remember exactly, but when i did it before, they made them in a weird format itunes at the time couldnt convert from and my HU didn't support playback with. So I had to use a program to convert, but couldn't find any free ones, all them would overlap with a "this is a unregistered product".
  2. I used audacity to make my own, but mine isn't a real copy so they are all stupid about it, but hank you!
  3. I can't seem to find any reliable frequency tones to use as burp and ones for tuning. Anyone got any help in this area?
  4. They should be able to handle that no problem, just watch them. I finally got the top baffle on my box, sounds a lot better just from that. Seems like I can only play with authority to my tuning frequency. Anything below is a bit less.
  5. Best GFX card on the markey atm is a Radeon 7970, will not turn you down at all.
  6. This is why you do work on your own shit, I've had one to many times where a friend or relative fucked something up really bad helping me do something.
  7. So I recieved this over a week ago, and even on my build log, still dragging. Just wanted to post up here really quick. I believe the box could be built better, I can play with authority up to my tuning point. I can play any note below my tuning, just not with any authority. I am running it off of a MB Quart FX1.600 and have it set up so that +11 on sub level is 400 watts, +13 is 500 and +15 is 600. I know that amp does not put out rated so I really never touch +15. I have only had one set up prior to this, but I had it for a very long time and learned a lot from it, and from that set, I believe this sub can take a tad bit more power if it really wanted to. The cone gets a tiny bit warm at times, but I believe if done properly and watched, this sub can take just under 1k without any issues. Overall, I love it! Will definetely attempt another box to get a better output from it.
  8. A fuse is a must! Expesially on that wire, that's the wire that is feeding your entire systems power source. Get a fuse on that asap.
  9. How do you like the frequency range of where you are tuned at now? The only thing you will see from switching from 35hz to 40hz, is the lower end of how low you can play, will increase, and and same with the higher end of the frequency range. Edit: If you don't listen to edited music, 30hz will be a no go.
  10. I just received the same sub but D4, same thing with the rubber surround being somewhat faded when I received it. Gl on sale, great sub in the right enclosure!
  11. There was a truck that just got sold i believe, that had 2 18's and 2 15's. Did 150's at any frequency all day long.
  12. I was in the same boat as you before, I could not find anything of the like. Only find ones that were very far spread apart and not allow me to get inbetween those two numbers
  13. I think the best way to find this out, is to run your setup on a TL and see where you start to roll off with playing frequencies, and set your SSF where you roll off.
  14. There are quite a few people on here that can do sketchup's they take some time to do so it depends if they feel like it. I know for a fact though that there are quite a few people here that will throw a box design together for you and give you cut sheets simply because they love doing it.
  15. Cheapest easiest way, pay for space and a domain. Learn HTML and CSS, and possibly PHP, then create it.
  16. ^^this is a good point....Also, I always forget to mention, talk to your insurance company to see if they cover stolen equipment from your car. Some will cover it as long as you have the receipts and it is fastened down. Another thing to consider is that most insurance companies will give you a small percent discount for having an alarm, but only if its been professionally installed. And I don't know how Orion still has that alarm for sale. It should have been gone long ago. I am actually contemplating pushing back my tints and deadening to get that alarm, I really need one.
  17. I also want to know how hard they are to install with no previous alarm install but basic car stereo systems installation knowledge.
  18. I can't answer ur question, but I do like the idea of redoing it though with everything rounded, I'm sure that will help with air flow! Also, HOLY FUCKING ALTS!!! 425+400+250 LOL ur nuts man
  19. Wait, what brand is the 8100d? The sundown e-12 is rated for 300 watts. How much power does that amplifier put out.
