your worried bout the port being so big that it will flex n shit? or what if it was me doing this box i'd throw a 2x4 on the top baffle to brace that and front/side walls and throw some dowel rods in between baffle and port/bottom and port as long as you brace accordingly you need not worry

plug in 25 h 46 W 34 D port 5.25 H 44.5 W 16 long 1 common wall and sub up should leave you with s 16 cube box tuned to 35 hz heres box

with imp rise you'll be well over 2 ohms so 1.3 should be fine depending on the amp

SHIIIIIIT got ANNIHILATED! the coil was still fine it just detached from the cone due to me being a noob at the time 10 cube box and 4k playing an almost full out sweep trying find my peak frequency on the TL then i noticed i was getting quiter, opened up the door pushed on sub only to find out that happened

i dont think you know how to measure if you plan on doing a false floor an 18" tall box and a .5" piece on top i know in the lumina it seems like i had 18.5-19" so i built my box 18.25" and ended up only being able to fit 17.5 in there due to the trunk arch, where the trunk arms meet the trunk and all that was after we took out the trunk springs/bastard bars or whatever you wanna call them so make sure you measure measure and measure again- dont be scared to get into the trunk to measure it sucks building a box only to have it not fit
