  1. you will have to take the dustcap off to re solder the tinsel lead back onto the coil (if there is enough to solder too). Id also recommend using something like gorilla glue or CA glue to cover over the new solder job and the cone where it goes through or it will just rip off again hella easily.
  2. Took the words right out of my mouth. Congrats on the new flip out. Im sure you will be very happy with it!
  3. if them where my choices id also go with the 4 inch tang bang
  4. theres a dd being played free air on row that was recorded with a bad camera, it looks pretty funny.
  5. Im not really sure on what your looking for, but if your looking for advice from the SQ people Im going to have to assume you are doing a sq setup?? That being the case imo I dont think you will find any speakers on parts express that could be used in a sq setup.. SQ + Cheap = Not happening. Now on the other hand Loud + Cheap = parts express
  6. If you have a router you can use a jasper jig, it will allow you to make many sized circles. There is nothing wrong with a jig saw. I have a router but no circle jig to cut circles with it so I use a jigsaw all the time. Just measure out your cutout diameter of the speaker and take a scrap piece of wood. that is someone long and narrow. Like a 1 inch by 10 inch piece of wood. screw a screw in one end with the tip just barly comming through the other side, and then take your needed cutout diameter and divide it in half, then mark from the screw to the needed measurement, drill a hole at the needed length and insert a pencil. then find your center of the box where you want your speaker and make the circle. Then just cut the wood with a jig saw. Note: Do not force the jigsaw let the blade do the cutting through the wood and not the pressure your putting on the saw. This will give you circular and non jagged cuts. These rings I cut out for my new 6.5 inch door pods where cut with a jig saw, and then rounded over and rabbited with a router.
  7. its 4:50am here and i gotta wait til 6am for another beer run
  8. As long as the memory chips are all the same speed it wont matter. If you stick a faster stick in with a slower stick, the faster stick will run at the slower sticks speed. Another thing to watch out for is voltage of the ram sticks, and the timmings. Some memory sticks require more voltage for proper use, and some can take more then other sticks. Brands, sizes dont matter to much. For the average user you wouldnt notice these small things much tho, but to a serious gamer or overclocker, this could kill the speeds they wanted to reach.
  9. Ive heard that too, but with the plat +4's It depends on your vehicle tho. It kind of comes down on your opinion on what you want to use. There are better plugs on the market but with out a aftermarket ignition setup you will most likely not see any performance gains. I know that some imports love ngk plugs.
  10. Im running the Bosch Platnium +4 in my caddy. I havent really noticed too big of a difference in them. Maybe you would notice the difference better if you had more spark then what the stock coils put out, such as a msd ignition. I also noticed I got a slight miss in cylnder 7, but never went to scope it out yet. I mostly always ran just the bosch platniums in the past and never had a problem.
  11. Im glad I am not alone on that one. Either way its tax free money, but I was planning on spending some of mine on a whole lotta wood
  12. you sir are a skinhead! LoL my hair is about yee short again too! I feel so bad, im younger then you and am balder then you lol Oh well at least the hair on my chinie chin chin is longer

  14. I got mine on the 7th. It was direct deposited. BUT, I got a letter in the mail saying I get the $600, but I only get 450ish for my tax stimulas. I goto the irs site to see why, it says if i didnt qualify for lines blah and blah added together I wouldnt get the full amount. Went through my tax papers, everything is correct. I owe no back taxes, have no back child support no dept. So why did I get screwed out of over a 150$? I had a buddy that worked with me for the entire year, our checks where the same with deductions and what not. he lives with mommy, i live on my own, he gets the full amount. How the fuck is this so? FUCK THE US GOVERMENT AND FUCK FIGHTING FOR THIS COUNTRY! THEY SAY ONE THING AND DO ANOTHER! No disrespect for those overseas sticking up for this hell hole, much love to you guys even tho its not worth it. Maybe I got someone elses check, maybe I didnt. But I cant stand liars and thats all that the gov is, is a bunch of lies. Anywho I was gonna post this crap up when I got my check deposited, but it would of ended up being locked or deleted since its political and thats not allowed on smd. FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!

  20. i dunno, I just didnt see that towel or whatever they had really move until it was in front of the port.
  21. I personally dont see you having any issue running both cross drilled and slotted. Like I said its not like your racing the vehicle where the brakes will be used in tense situations. I had by baers for a while now, and no problems, and they aint even the best baer rotors made, just the only ones I found for my car (but they still costed a pretty penny per rotor) Im pretty sure you said you where going to run Brembo? Which is another great company Brembo>baer. I think the rezcalade is running brembo 6 piston calipers & cross drilled and slotted rotors too! Check with the manufactures warrenty. See what they say, I dont think you will have a problem with cracking cross drilled and slotted rotors for daily driving. I can see some cheap no name kit from ebay that costs you $150 bucks for 4 crossdrilled and slotted rotors malfunctioning and cracking, but not something from a higher performance company.
  22. I want to say they are Bendex or something like that, they aint nothing too special but they do their job and havent had to mess with anything for a while now, which makes me super happy! that wont do much.. A 26 inch rim is heavy.. Very heavy compaired to the stock wheels that are used. Your rotors will heat up super fast with hydroboost or whatever which overtime will warp your rotors, wear out pads, and not to mention once the rotor is hot the car will not stop the same. Bigger brakes are made for more stopping power, and slotted rotors are to help the rotors cool down faster.
