I actually just rebuilt a pair of woofers Sundown Z version 1 motors, on 18 inch baskets, used the nightshade v1 coils, nightshade v2 cone, spiders, and surrounds. I was looking for them to take more power, and be all around more daily, and was told by Jacob to plug the vent, so I bought 2 machined vents to do just that. However the only way to really plug your hole is by inserting the pole plug into the woofer thru the top (under the dustcap). Which you wont be able to do unless your really careful taking the dustcap off, or recone.

i feel like there could be some copyright/trademark issues with that lol. it's free marketing for T3...thus, no care Really, not much could happen... T3 Audio, err T3 audio technologies, or whatever their current name is could attempt to sue a multi-million if not billion company like Rockford Fosgate, but what would T3 gain? Not a damn thing! Rockford Fosgate lawyers would eat up all T3 audios money and the company would be done for again, well that is until you claim your business as a loss on taxes or file bankruptcy. Besides that, Rockford Fosgates T3 line has nothing to do with even attempting to steal what little spotlight T3 has left. If you looked at the RF product line, you will notice that they make a T1, T2, T3, and T5 line in compentents, and currently a T1 and T2 line in subwoofers. With a seccsusful company like Rockford, I'm sure they actually own the name T3 or have it copyrighted to some degree, where as a company with so little money that cant even keep their shelfs stocked with even a little bit of product most likely didnt even think of protecting their name, or have the money to spend on it. Just kinda like the whole AA SMD sub using "T3's basket" and how T3 was not going to stand for that, and action was being taken. Well we all see who won that one! AA and RF FTW

the reason they are called spl coils is because they are aluminum flatwound coils with a longer winding height vs the copper round wire coils. they handle moar power!

This is an ongoing install I been working on when both me and my buddy have the spare time. All install work is being done by me, while he is helping out with the lifting and learning as we go. Ordering some SPL coil recones for the SA-12s tomorrow most likely too! the one thing I noticed so far is if you edit out the part of the video without the bass where all you hear is lyrics, it will normally pass since the bass is usually so strong that it takes out the mid & tweet stage on the camera making the song undetectable. Been really curious tho on how some people get around this all together with normal music.

This is a friends whip. Car is a geo metro 2door hatchback. Stock alt, with a tiny kinetik under the hood. 4 C&D batteries behind the front seats. 8 Sundown Audio SA-8's 1 Atomic 7000.1 Car will do over a 150 at 28hz Also lost a coil on 1 woofer while demoing, so that is the reason you see 1 moving out of phase. The grounding of the RCAs on the back of the headunit will only work if you have an older Pioneer head unit. So if that does not fix your problem your have a ground loop issue. Not know exactly what equitment you are running is not going to help get you answers to fix this problem... You said you have a preamp/eq? What kind is it? Where is it grounded? This may sound very odd, however disconnect your ground on the EQ if your using one. The unit will still ground thru the RCA cables, just to see if it is in fact the EQ making noise. Ive seen a lot of EQs be the cause of engine whine. Where is your amp grounded? Did you ground your amp with a nut and bolt to the vehicles frame/chassis? Did you remove any paint and grime away for a pure metal on metal contact? If you grounded your amp to something like a strut tower bolt or something similar, that could also be your problem. This is correct, not needed to do all the rca preouts, on most head units they all share the common ground.

My city got this wise idea to do it because it would improve traffic flow and reduce accidents..... On that hwy well road, not really a highway speedlimit is 45, there are 3 roundabouts right in a roll, then another one 2 miles down, then about .5miles away is another one. Then on another hwy leavin town there is another roundabout, and another roundabout downtown area.... People here are seriously stupid. So many accidents, people yeilding when they have the right away... etc.. Ive seen 3 accididents involving semis going around them and people trying to drive the inner lane next to the semi. Im sure you can guess how that turned out. Semi won!
