    Personally, I just listen for the sub to start losing sound quality. When the bass starts getting sloppy, its a good bet the subs aren't going to take much more.

    The electrical would be fine, but the subs would not. I say get the amp, but upgrade your subs as well.

    Hm...Is there a reason you arent running fuses? The only scenario I can think where you wouldn't want them is in a competition vehicle where you need maximum power transfer...And what are you running that you need 4/0 wire?

    If youre talking net volume, meaning after sub/port/wood displacement, do 16 cubes for the two. 10 cubes per sub is pretty big.

    Damnnn last I heard it was only 6 18's! This is going to be nasty. Are you running a different amp for the mids/highs, or all off the same amp? And what are you using for the mids/highs? I love how efficient that amp is btw.

    Try to use 3/4. Although it depends on the subs and amount of power. And, you can brace the 1/2 inch plexi, although it's tough to pull that off and make it look good.

    How much mounting depth is there? I'm about to do a system in an 04 f150 quad cab myself. The ten's i had in mind are 4.3" deep...Is there any chance at relocating any of the stuff in the way?

    I think i know the smell you mean...its not real strong like burning coils, but you can smell it when youre bumpin...I'm not sure what that is, maybe the amp, or maybe its just the smell of the air moved by the subs, i don't really know.

    x2 its impossible to generate air pressure in a car like that. All you do is displace air in a car.

    Youre fine sealed. Porting kickpanels is pretty difficult. It works, but not necessary.

    Those would definitely get louder, but the XXX is still a great sub, even the older ones.
