  1. Soundstream T-4 15 then. I think its 1000w sub. Should bang hard.
  2. Turbo ftmtfw!! haha if you got the cash its the most effective upgrade you can do. and every other upgrade is more effective.
  3. Happy bday man. Time to get drunk legally! haha
  4. ohh, dont exclude the type R!
  5. You have around 8.5 usable cubic feet before displacement of subs and ports. That should be enough for 2 15's ported, but I wouldnt try and put three. Sealed, you could squeeze 3 in.
  6. This isn't super clear, I think we're saying the same thing. But I think you have extra (unnecessary) wires thrown in there.
  7. you wire it in series...pos off amp to pos on first coil, neg off first coil to pos on second coil, neg on second coil to neg on amp. that'll double resistance. I'd recommend either of the ones posted above. I was about to recommend the R, but both that and the SSD would work real well off that amp. edit: try sonicelectronix.com for the type r, its $45 cheaper.
  8. he was saying he knows what SPL and SQ mean, but not SQL. i dont think he was combining them into the answer...
  9. 45'ing the angles reduces air turbulence/port noise. It's better for air flow through the port.
  10. I'd go with L7's ported. Everyone I've talked to says they sound shitty in a sealed box. I've only done one install with a solobaric, and it was a s10l5. Ported it, and it sounded pretty good. Doesn't bump super hard, but enough to hear the kid comin down the street, just like he wanted. haha
  11. Haha exactly. It's a pretty sweet exploder.
  12. huh? Take the run of larger wire and cap it with a ring terminal. Take your smaller wires and screw all the ring terminals together. Use washers on both sides. The only downfall is it's not fused, but neither is a buss bar. Sorry it's kinda hard to explain. Basically you're just sandwiching the ring terminals together to connect them.
  13. man 165feet of dynamat for a single 10in sub in a qlogic box... what a waste lol Nah, that setup probably sounds so clean. It just won't bump that hard. Fully dynamatted interiors are amazing.
  14. lol i wish i had a need for buss bars. With only two amps, i just stack the 2 ring terminals and screw them down somewhere. works fine as long as its hidden.
  15. K it has around 4,700 strands. Which should be enough for a 1000bd and a 4 channel. Only thing is, will the flat wire have a problem fitting through something like this? http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...tnumber=263-635
  16. The head unit controls the alarm system, door chimes, etc. So if you remove it, you have issues unless you get the correct harness. It comes with a small control box to take care of all those functions for you.
  17. What's with the lanzar and sony stuff? No offence towards you meant by my posts, but whats the deal there.
  18. :^ hahahaha maybe if you payed me...
  19. I just got my refurb t1000bd in last night. Can't say how well it works cause I have nothing to hook it up to yet, but it does look brand new. No scratches at all. Can't wait to start my build...
  20. Eh. Whatever. I don't really care to carry this discussion on. I can see your point. Let's just agree that higher RCA voltage is a good thing. haha
