you consider doing 2 15's walled? right above the gas tank? 2 12's is a tight fit let alone 2 15's. It'll work but you're gonna need some serious power to make up for the ridiculously inefficient enclosure.

Just ordered my second batch of 90sqft of sound deadener for the edge ... That makes 180sqft of sound deadener total for the car ... Over kill? I dont think so when you want to make a world champion sq car :-D no part of that car is getting un noticed ....

I swear.... Been getting the "OrionStang" side of things lately. Pissing me off. Epoxy that I used to glue my recones is only gelling. Not really hardening. Bottle says 24 hrs to full strength though. Fingers crossed

Debating ditching this current box. Being a pain to pull any sort of decent score from. Might just do the good 'ol subs up port back/down the middle. Seems like it's been good to me

Picked up an older Alpine Type-R for 60$ my box was within spec def moves more air than the SX10 time to filp it and upgrade

I honestly don't know what else I can do to these XFL's to blow them besides wall socket. 3.5k @ 1ohm to the pair and they don't show any signs of stress even if I hard clip them. Probably the best budget subs out there HANDS DOWN.

they are the 2nd run of XFL's I believe, the ones with the new baskets but the bottom of the motor still has the silver sticker on it, not black like the new ones. I just keep pushing these subs to their limits no joke they are pretty much at max throw on most of my songs and they barely get warm. I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't clamping more than 2k considering my voltage drop and being wired @ 1ohm, but still, for them being in a 4 cube gross box they are catching hell haha.

see I was attempting to blow them so I could get D2's and wire to .5 but they just won't let go. .5 will probably be the death of them as they are catching hell as it is, but still don't break a sweat.

Had a buddy come though for me tonight and get the subs loaded and all of the wire run into the doors! That saved me at least half of a days worth of work! Now to move onto the console build!!!
