it regulates voltage, it doesnt do anything but add a burdon to the electrical if you cannot already power your stereo. look at it this way, caps are very fast dischargeing, during constant bass after the caps supply of energy is gone it is trying to charge itself while still trying to power the amp. so its actually harder on the electrical. IMO caps are a waste of money for how much they cost, you can get a decent battery and its way better then a cap for around the same price.

my pioneer is the same way, if i get to crankin on it it skips like a mofo. siliconing everything helped me out a little, im not sure what kind of car you have tho

before a comp for sure. otherwise whenever i go out to my car ill take a quick glance at the amp and make sure all subs are moving equally. to take your subs out alot, wouldnt that hurt your box? or have the box more likely to stip the holes?

holy shit u dont need that much, they are cheap pioneers lol. a 3000d would blow them up unless its almost off. dude there are alot of amps, u dont even need to spend that much. i have to go but when i get back ill find you an amp. but for now, since they are svc4ohm in parallel its final imp. is 2 ohms. most kicker amps put out max power at 2 ohms. otherwise if you are looking to upgrade and maybe add 2 more subs get a 1 ohm stable amp that does 1000-1200wrms at 2 ohms. do not get a 2 channel amp, it will be a waste of money since u cannot use all of its power. go mono. ill help you when i get back home

if you have a shop and tools id be willing to work for ya, i am decent at box building. i can do pritty much anything, ive never fiberglasses moldings. i can build a good solid box tho, if your interested let me know. i also know of subs and stuff, ill point u in the direction of dc just because they are a kick ass bang for the buck. im living in platteville wisconsin, i can only work on certain weekends. u would be responsible for getting all mdf, resin, whatever u want for the box because i have only a little cavalier full of 15"s. let me know.
