Your car is fine, don't worry about the federal sticker. CA has their own system which over rides the Federal one, so you will still need to smog for CA. You can always buy a car in CA when you get here. The seller most of the times will pay for the smog before they sell it. Don't buy a used car from anybody in CA unless they have proof of smog. You will have to smog it again to change the title on the pink slip so beware of that too.

A quick fix is to get a delay to auto arm and lock with 20 secs on exit. I had my old school Buick broken into, but my Viper alarm was quick to page me. I know with FORD if you do the big 3 it will void your factory warranty and any ESP plans with them. I didn't do the big 3 or extra battery because my Alt was 150 stock and my battery was sitting at 14.2 volts on full tilt. I have one cap installed because I didn't want to buy a yellow top.

What laptop model do you have? You need to reinstall all the drivers for your laptop hardware. It would be on a DVD disc, if you don't have one all you need is your laptop model number and make and enter it into google. Installing outta my garage and for xStateofMindZx the system has been in his car for a year and a half now and there have been absolutely no problems whatsoever...it was another friend of his that "knows how to make it louder" and flipped the switch to +2db, and cranked his gain on his sub amp. Luckily I fixed that yesterday when he stopped by for his tweeters not working. Haha he got his money worth! Tell him he is SOL aka shit out of luck. His friend should fix his problem, I would try to sell him an upgrade to make his system sound louder the right way! Then you can fix his blown shitz and make some money too. Offer him an insurance plan. If he doesn't want to spend some money, he is no longer a good customer! RIGHT?
