    Yes you need to add more port area.... How much depends. You will have to play around with it. Id shoot for 14 at first the go up from there to around 17 max imo.

    apparently, you didnt see the circular saw yet then. LOL x2 lol the saw was unexpected. I literally lol'd at that.

    So its an 04' model? I had a 04 12L7 the cone broke off from spider. Yours prob did too or is in the process pf doing so... Pull the sub outta the box check all around where the spider meets the cone. This is what happened to me 3 times(I'm hardheaded). If this is the case and you want to try and repair it, get epoxy for plastic at walmart, autozone wherever but the longer the set time the stronger the bond will be. ie 60min epoxy would be stronger than 5min.     No it never goes into protect. I did do big 3 all 1/0awg and a fairly big deep cycle. I also got it oscoped. But the best thing about the amps are they are rated at 12.0 volts so they do rated with low voltage according to the specs. I cant wait to get a h/o alt and a few batteries to see what it can really do, my amp impressed the hell outta me. I dip into high 10s at full tilt idleing sometimes and it keeps on truckin.

    Yes get on youtube it'll show you how to get your panels off. Im with OrionStang with this one just do it yourself. Maybe I should get into installing deadener theres good many to be had there.
