  1. Lol @ the silhouette. Man I wished I lived on the west coast.... Too bad I'm stuck here in Ky
  2. I never heard anything on the amp, is it still forsale? It's benn about 2-3 weeks.
  3. ^^^this. But dont forget about leaving space for all the air to flow (for ported) you dont want to suffocate it.
  4. Here in louisville, ky it's 50ft but, it says in the law all things are considered ie, time of day, where it was at(as in residential neighborhood or whereever) and it says it's up to the officer at the time to what happens. If you turn it down when you see them here they wont fuck with you, and if you arent near houses they wont fuck with you in my experiences. idk it's all on the officer, most are dicks some are decent.
  5. I would do a couple layers if you already have material.
  6. Since you're using 4" aeros one thing to remember is leave the port 4" away from any internal wall of the box. Unless you're using flares then account for that. ie if the outer diameter of the flare is 6" give 6" of clearance between the port flare and all walls
  7. I would put them all on the same side, but I guess you dont have too idk foreal if you can place them on diff sides it make cause cancellation or other issues idk.
  8. Well, most likely sub back port back or sub back port side seems to work best in trunk cars. I've always preferred sub back port side in my car but all cars will be different. What type of car is it?
  9. Do this and get all the bolts out then hit the basket itself with the hammer upwards. I didn't have to hit mine and it came right off. Glue must of broke on mine. But i would wrap the hammer in a rag or something, so you don't chip or damage the basket. Unless you have a rubber hammer. Well I always used a hammer with no problem.(all the ones I've done have been stuck together tight). Your not hitting with all your might you just give it a good tap, but yea a rubber mallet would be the best thing if you were worried about damaging it. And using the screwdriver to break the glue between the motor and basket did'nt turn out too well when I tried last if you slip you'll scratch the top plate.
  10. Do this and get all the bolts out then hit the basket itself with the hammer upwards.
  11. Set the sub on the floor and hit up on the basket with a mallet/hammer and it'll come off. That's after you remove the bolts of course.
  12. Who's in the Louisville, Ky area that's a basshead? I would like to get to know some more ppl that enjoy car audio like I do. None of my buddies are really into car audio like I am, and I'd like to have some bassheads friends as well. Is there anybody in my area that would like to meet up and BS about car audio and shit?
  13. HDC3 imo. It's deffinatly a bigger sub and I would'nt compare those two inparticular if it was me. Edit: what's your goals?
