double check how you have the speaker wire ran into the amp.. try a different + and -... id give it a shot at least

i could see them moving to a certain point when not under their own power... ever sit next to a loud system with their music going? feel your subs theyll be moving right along with the other vehicles bass lol kinda the same principle i would think..i could be wrong tho

i would see if u could get your hands on an 8 to try wortha shot as far as sealing it off losing you..it happens man lol ive had tenths of a db disapear on me and still have no clue where they went..i upped the reserve in my truck voltage went from drop to 12.9 to 13.4 clamping more power and i lost lol so i went back to the way it was and score was STILL down lol spl is a real bitch sometimes

i would personally go 4th order if doing a musical build...big thing about 6th orders like alpine said is they can fall flat on their face so easily..and can end in broken dreams and broken equipment lol they can however get NASTY loud if done right....i heard da 4 runner as well things a beast

my buddy has 1 in his explorer.. been ran on everything from 1500rms all the way up to 3k takes it all very well and good versatile woofer.. the suspension is rather on the stiff side so they do like a touch larger enclosure than other subs

yeah be a long shot but they may have a few of the motors still laying around

in all honesty i would look around for 2 more as long as i could stand to look lol they are floating around just tough to find

to answer the OP's question both subs should perform well on that power.. youll be happy with whichever you choose

you do realize these are next to identical subs right? and AQ and DD and pretty much the same company...right?

honestly youll prolly have to find one use in that price range.. im sure you could find something half way decent in the 2500-3k range if you look hard enough
