  1. Lol thanks man. I've just always loved working on cars, so I've stuck with it, did auto classes in high school and now I'm finishing up my second year at an advanced auto tech school and high performance. Fun stuff, my knuckles hate me though lol.
  2. I can chip in my help on these topics too. I've been turning wrenches for 13 years and I've got resources for diagrams and schematics. And no, user manuals don't help for everything. Grab a Haynes manual for your specific car and flip to the "rebuilding a transmission" section.... Oh wait, there isn't one lol, they refer you to a mechanic or to a different book.
  3. Subbed... And I agree, your editing skills are phenomenal bro!
  4. IF it works.... That's the kicker.
  5. Just take your time with the install and make sure to get it properly tuned so you're not hitting fuel cut at 3k rpm's lol
  6. It's about time to clean that engine up man! Knock the dust off it when you throw the other turbo on there
  7. Any engine or trunk pics of the Lancer?
  8. I've got a Bugatti Veyron with 48 15's.... In the headliner. Pics of the EVO.
  9. I gave the moment of silence when I watched it this morning. Such a tragic event. Can't wait for the next project though!
  10. Pretty sure "bi-phrasing" has been around for awhile. It's called mindfucking. And I do it often.
  11. Holy shit. That's good stuff right there. And I would +1 it, but I deleted my Google+ account due to the overwhelming number of fat chicks finding me after I blocked them from Facebook lol.
  12. Extremely rare, I agree... My buddy happened to be one of those extremely rare cases. Not to mention that he sucks at rebuilds and forgot to put the thrust bearing in... Duh. I've seen them walk on eclipses. A lot lol. OP: Listen to Finkster, just a stab in the dark.....He seems to know what he's talking about
  13. Really? Gonna strap that on the ole Daewoo? Awesome lol.
  14. Weapon R is on the andysautosport site, but it's not in there. This is gonna be something you're going to have to fab up yourself most likely.
  15. Damn. Have you tried any ZX3 forums? And what exactly are you looking to do? Also browse around ebay.
  16. If the subs are 2ohm each, then in theory, they should be running at 2ohms.
  17. You can always clamp them and find out what you're actually getting.
  18. What on earth are you talking about...........
  19. x2 I stated that above. ABS will not function, but your regular brakes will. Just drive careful and don't do any dumb shit lol. Go through and check all the sensors. Front and back just for the hell of it to make sure nothing was touched. Pop the hood and double check any wires leading to the master cylinder or ABS control module, which should be located around or under the master cylinder. Check the brake fluid level. Just be careful man.
  20. Sounds like your friend might have screwed up the ABS modulator when he was compressing the caliper pistons. If the ABS is screwed up, the regular brakes will still function normally, but I'd recommend taking it to a garage and have them check it out.
  21. I dunno about that.... I'm more of an engine guy lol. Might want to take a look on the 3000gt forums and see what people say about it, see what/if any modifications need to be done to make them fit.
  22. Less than $500 for a gasket kit, oil, filter, thermostat, coolant, timing belt.... And just countless hours of your time so you can make sure you're doing everything correctly. If there is a problem with the valves/lifters/springs, it's gonna be a little more pricey than $500.
  23. It's common. And it was probably abused a little bit. They should be adjustable, so it's probably an easy fix, but I'd still go ahead and take the heads off and get a gasket kit for the upper half, that way you can get a good look at the condition of the engine and replace all the gaskets/seals while you're at it.
