  1. Seems like it's charging on the high side. Usually they charge at about 14.4, then once the ELD kicks in and controls voltage, it drops down to 13.5ish.
  2. It's got an ELD. I just checked
  3. It won't kill it, but it will make the alt work pretty hard to keep the batts charged.
  4. Brand new Crescendo BC2K will be here on Thursday :)

  5. Go ahead and lock this up. Got me a brand new Crescendo BC2K on the way!
  6. Like the title says, looking for a 2K watt amp, so let me know what you got, or what you find out there. Shipped to 23464 if possible. Thanks, Adam
  7. Kyle, if you've still got it, pm me a price to 23464 please.

3 hugs and we call it a deal.

  9. You know what's killing local install shops? Shitty installs. Just un-fucked my buddies car. 6 power wires coming from the battery, only 2 hooked up to the amp. Other 4 were under the "amp rack" sitting on the carpet.

He got it done while I was out of state.

  10. He built that mega-retard-superwoofer just for excursion purposes. That's it. Plenty of throw, serves no purpose other than that.
  11. I need some songs in the 40/43/45hz range... Shoot me some ideas!!

  12. Temp of the trunk on a decent day, around 83 degrees outside. The meter was placed in the trunk to read the ambient temp in there. And again, absolutely no sagging or slipping of the deadener.
  13. Just download and install terminal emulator. And play store should be in the gapps.zip that should be in the ROM's thread somewhere.
  14. You sir, are welcome Thank you for contacting Dell technical support, it was a pleasure to be of assistance LOLOLOL
  15. That's also a reason I don't use crossovers.... It's one more component that has a possibility of going bad. I've got all my speakers hooked directly to the amp, all of the 6.5's hooked up on the front channels, and all of my tweeters on the rear channels with all of the filters set accordingly.
  16. It's a possibility.... Not 100% sure though. That's why I'm waiting for Ray lol
  17. Start turning up the HPF, and every time you increase it, turn the volume up and see if it still cuts out.
  18. New word: Askhole. The person that always asks for advice, then turns around and does the exact opposite of what you told them.

  19. What other settings does the HPF have? Or how high can you go up to?
  20. Did you ask Ray about this yet? I had that problem before with it cutting off at a certain volume when the bass hits, then it would come right back on.... That was when I had to rerun all my speaker wires and I found that bad crimp. I also adjusted my EQ so all the speakers wouldn't be seeing all the lower bass tones. What are the filters setup like on the amp?
  21. No problem at all. Just use the wood glue to glue all the edges of the box together, and after it's all dried, if there's any bigger gaps from the "not so straight" cuts, then use caulk to seal it up.
  22. Wood glue: Titebond II - http://www.homedepot.com/Paint-Adhesives-Tape-Adhesives-Wood-Glues/h_d1/N-5yc1vZar2xZ12kx/R-100144210/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&storeId=10051 Fiberglass is a more expensive route, but they've got 3M resin and mat at Home Depot or Lowes. And for caulk, just regular DAP caulk is fine - http://www.homedepot.com/Paint-Caulking-Sealants/h_d1/N-5yc1vZasef/R-100097524/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&storeId=10051
  23. Wood glue all the inside seams. Or fiberglass the inside seams. Or caulk the inside seams. That's really all I've done and have had no problems with air escaping from the box.
  24. What ohm load is the amp stable to and what's the final ohm load on each of the channels?
