The middle is a damn good place to be IMO. I'm not much of an SPL guy anymore, been out of the loop a couple of years, and never really got into SQ that much. As long as it gets pretty loud, sounds good to you, and makes you happy who gives a shit how it would meter?

The ST1000D will do ~1k at 14v IIRC, some people have clamped as high as 1100 out of them. Both of mine where in the high 900-low 1000 range. Awesome amps, fairly clean power, and absolutely bulletproof.

Harrison Labs Drag Queen It had something to do with the fact that it was basically like a big capacitor that put out sound. You charge it, it plays for 30 second bursts, then you recharge. They ended up not being classified as an amp by most sanctioning bodies. It's more of a tone generator than a true amplifier.

I raced mine in GNCC, SORCS, The Heartland Challenge, and some Mid-East races through the years, bulletproof bikes. An HRC kit REALLY wakes up the 06+'s. HRC kit + a GOOD pipe (HMF, Rossier, DASA, MXP) + Good filter w/ no lid + Rejet and you'll have a completely new machine. Hit up DeRisi Racing for some shock work if you want it to ride like a Cadillac. Tell him Zach Taylor sent you, he'll treat you right. His revalves are the best I've ridden as far as a stock bodied shock goes.

Should be a simple fix. You can do it yourself, or send it to someone like db-r or tubenut and they can fix it pretty cheap I'm sure. Nice score.

Are you wanting to run 2 separate amps at 1 ohm, or run 1 at .5ohms? Probably be better off to just get 2 D4's and run them at 1 ohm off of something like an AQ2200D or something. Don't cheap out on electrical though. Atleast a good battery in the back, with some 1/0 and the big 3 done in 1/0.

SCT is the only way to go IMO. I always had good luck with the XCal2 with Modular Powerhouse, or Amazon Tuning Solutions tunes.

I agree. Terrible choice for a T-line IMO. They work VERY well in large ported boxes. I've had good luck in 8-9 ft^3 net, 34-35hz on a single one. DudeWith4x4 is doing 145's at 32hz on less than 1000 watts clamped with almost 9 cubes, 35hz, 13in^2 port per cube.

The way I always tell everyone to do it when tuning by ear is to tune it to where they think it's not clipping, then back it off another 1/8th turn or so. Better safe than sorry IMO

For SQ look for some Image Dynamics IDQ's. You can do better than that Kenwood amp.

There has been "Evidence" to support this type of shit for centuries now. People have been trying to predict the end of days since the beginning, and honestly there is only 1 person who can do that. The way I see it, I can't change it if it is going to happen, so I'm not worried with it. I'd almost guarantee it won't be in our lifetimes though.
