    With very little voltage drop? Hmm. Maybe just another xs3400. I'm sure that would be enough, but it wouldn't hurt. Will both Alts be charging and running the system, or will you have two charging systems?

    Be careful man I wouldn't buy off of craigslist, atleast not audio equipment. On here, you can tell if the person is knowledgeable. You'll know if he treated his equipment right or not. But on craigslist, you'll normally just find a bunch of people trying to scam others.

    Well then your a dumbass, and I mean that in the nicest possible way. The 18" has alot more motor force, and will handle more power scalar it has a bigger motor and coil. Of you don't look at the motor, well, I have a DC Lv98 4", the motor might look a little different, but I swear it'll handle an Xplod 1800w amp.

    Just keep an eye on the voltage, if it drops too much for your liking, turn the gain down a little bit

    I think you would be fine man. Even if it drops, with a decent batt in back, you won't see under 13.

    Can't see the number. If it's a rebuilt stock alt, it'll be good enough when driving or revving engine, but when at idle, your voltage will drop probably more than it would with stock alt. Atleast that's what Ive read up on.

    Big three and an XS D3100 would hold you above 13v, but you might be able to get away with a D3400. I had my DC 2k running at 1ohm on stock 118amp alt with big three and a d3400 and never dropped under 13v, came close though when running AC and low beams.

    nah, your the only one that has ever complained about my stupid questions. Some people don't know everything when the start a new hobby... That's why you need to READ. It simple really, just look at the individual letters, sound them out, and pronounce the words. Any build thread would explain to you what a deck is, just like I said earlier. And I might be the only one openly complaining, but I know there are others that are just as annoyed.
