1 run off my alt to my stock batt and 1 run from stock batt to d3400 in back. Waiting on batts to move the d3400 to tje front.

Did you get a reading on your alt.? Did you get a reading on your alt.? Turns out Grandpa had the same clamp as me. Not the right kind. I went to a shop and they clamped my alternator. I got 175 amps out of a 250 amp Singer alternator. Keep in mind i wasn;t putting a load big enough on it , need more batteries. Guys there said its very likely that it will do 250 amps due to the nice looking internals of the alt. I will buy my own meter and run more tests soon.

See what impedance the bridged channels are at. So channel 1 & 2 dont work? That could be it

Check the impedance of each channel. Bad ground? Voltage drop? Gain set properly?

Maybe because you have no credit built up. I believe the best way you build credit is get a credit card and USE it. Practixe paying off on time and early. I think idk i have a debit card and just turned 18 week ago.

Sorry to thread jack but how can you tell if you NEED an alternator or adding a battery ?

No smell at all, not warm or hot at any part of the amp, never a static noise or anything. Like i said seemed as if the remote lose power just turned off.

That i will do as soon as i go on break and report back. Stupid question buttttt is there any sign or way to tell right now if the amp is damaged or not yet ?

yes im using 1/0 wire. I also was told the fuse is to protect the wire not the equipment, only to protect equip[ment in a short. I will go with 200 amp fuse for each as i have thse fuses at home.

One question, the amp spec sheet says 380amp fuse for external fuse. So since the amp has dual inputs can each wire have a 200 amp fuse on it whch would add up to 400 amps IF YOU ADD AMPS or does EACH wire need at least a 380 amp fuse ?
