The question you need to answer is what kind of sound do you want out of your highs the same question Clean Sierra asked? You can go with a nice set of comps that have 1" silk dome tweets and pretty good mid woofers or you can go with a set of super tweets and a set of mid woofers something like a pair of Crescendo Tweets and a pair of Selenium or Sundown NeoPro's for your mid woofers. With the right amp it won't be hard to make it loud and have it keep up with your upcoming DC's.

Happens to me every once in awhile I usually drink hot green tea with lemon and honey. I also try not to talk as much. If your throat is sore try gargling some water with salt and vinegar (DONT SWALLOW) just swish it in your mouth and gargle in your throat a few times and you should feel better. Mine usually last about two or three days. -
I am a huge fan of Precision Power and their equipment won't break the bank real clean check these out Precision Power PPI S2.65C - The Sedona Series. I put a pair of these in a customers car but I only used the mid woofer and I tossed the tweeter and used a pair of their larger PPI PT.2 tweeters and it sounded great really good sound for the money running on a Precision Power PPI S580.4.

The biggest thing about components is the fact that you have more placement options with your tweets. I would suggest you purchase a cheapy pair from somewhere and play around with them and see how you like them. Amp em you will be happier in the long run.

Damn that would have been some shit and she must be blind or something how do you not see a big ass blue car???...At least it's going to get paid for and from what I have seen as of late a lot of insurance companies are determined to repair before they replace when I got hit on my side they actually pulled parts off of another totaled car to fix the damage but I wasn't complaining as long as it's taken care of and I don't notice a different. Good luck with the repairs and everything and post pics of the rental it's always interesting to see what people end up with from an insurance rental -

Need I say it?...Just dial 1-800-CHOKETHATHOE...friggin sucks I hope you find out who the hell did that I have had a few hit and runs in my garage ppl just don't give a damn about messing someone else stuff up and they never want to own up to anything. -
Ok so this is my first go at this and if all goes well I can clean out my stock of random car audio I have completely cluttering my garage. I will start it off with two amps that I know work because I pulled them from my system about a month ago. They are Massive Audio Blade 1000 amps, very thin and really good amps they are 1 ohm stable and do 280w x 1 @ 2 ohms and 420-500w x 1 @ 1 ohm. Never had any problems with these amps made life easy for me when I was looking to save space, hopefully I can find them a new home. I am asking $200 obo for each amp or $300 for both. I will cover shipping & insurance so these prices are shipped. I will listen to offers but prefer to sale these. Thanks

I was going to send my two blown 12" RF HX2's to fixmyspeaker and get a PSI rebuild and take the subs from 500w RMS to 1000w RMS but if you are serious about this and can do what they were going to do for me I wouldn't mind a custom Dbs sub plus I am always down to support a fellow SMD family member. Let me know and good luck with your venture...

If the source you are buying from is reputable and will honor their own waranty then go for it. Anyway to save a buck is never bad but def get that warranty you don't want any issues on the back end.

I believe there may be a bot posting the name is CondoSecurity1 and there is a post in member builds called condo security tried reporting it but said I didn't have permission to report it.

You can get this FLI Audio FL900S-F2 its from SonicElectronix and they are pretty good budget amps I am running 2 right now in my build. I have the F1 version and it works great no issues no overheating and you can't beat it for $60 with free shipping.

I would say no on the amp because you can do better if you spend a little more. Look on here for amp deals plus you can get a DB drive amp off of AudioSavings.com for $240 with free shipping & 1 year warranty plus I think SMD members get 5% if I'm not mistaken. Here is the link DB Drive it's 2000w rms @ 1 ohms CEA compliant so it does rated power plus its rated at 12v which is awesome. Where are you located though I noticed all of these posting appear to be in Florida plus that area code on the amp is Broward? EDIT The tarantula amp you posted from eBay I hear is pretty good but I would get the DB drive since I know I can trust it's rating or look around on here you may be able to find an aq, sundown or another really good amp for a great price just hit up the WTB section of the forum.
