  1. fixed. thanks man!!! We appreciate it! My bad I usually don't forget to include those guys because I know D'Amore Engineering had a huge role in the creation and success of the DD-1 so thanks for fixing that and Congrats to all of you guys!
  2. Dope Congrats Steve
  3. Okay so I did it and it was done then it wasnt done but then it again was really done to begin with?

  4. You can get a DB Drive Amp it does 2000w rms and is cea compliant so it does rated and this is at 12v and its under $250 which is always a good thing.
  5. Bot hunting season!
  6. ^^^ Larry makes a point and if everything checks out my question is...How are you measuring voltage is it from a DMM or from an LCD Volt Meter if it's from a dash mounted LCD volt meter I would measure it using a DMM to toss out the idea that it may a bad meter. If it isn't the meter then I would say try playing with the car off and see what the draw looks like from the batts alone. If you notice the drop problem solved if not then on to the next possible scenario. 150 POST :woot: What better way to spend it then with helping a fellow basshead.
  7. LMAO at how south this thread is going and even worse how much worse it's going to get. Tuned In!
  8. Ludacris tracks always have a nice hard beat to em.
  9. I have the DD-1 too hoping to show it off at the show and get people to understand the power of an SMD product. Yeah I feel ya we want to see how many people would be willing to shell out a little dough for a better sound and to know what their system does. I have a desktop I may use and I have a nice little test bench set up that would power everything perfectly. I will keep you posted on whats going on with everything once I get more info.
  10. Well if you have the Term Lab I have my kick around work laptop that should do the trick I can grab a hold of a bigger monitor and good to know there are some out there. I am still trying to find out who I know locally will show up but thanks guys I will keep you all posted on more updates and hopefully more floridians come out the woodworks on SMD.
  11. *Real Talk* It would be great to win a prize as big as that and congrats to the winner but I have to be real the DD-1 has made my life so much easier no more dragging out the o-scope and the DD-1 is so quick and simple it cuts so much time out of my jobs that I can people in and out of my install bay quicker. Thanks for a product that has made my life that much easier. BTW let's roll out that CC-1 so my life can be even easier
  12. So I am just going to throw this up in the air and see what happens but I would really like to find out if anyone in the Miami area or close to Miami in anyway would be down for a meet and greet. Nothing fancy or huge just show off your system to fellow bass heads. I may be able to get my hands on a Term Lab if I play my cards right and make this a little more fun and let people meter for the hell of it. I could make this into a pretty cool event if I know there are enough people willing to show up. I have a couple ideas and a few spot in mind but before I start making calls, greasing pockets and promoting I need to see how many people would be interested in showing up.
  13. ready to get my hands on this and get both of my 4 channel amps on point. I'm already putting my pennies away for this the amp dyno and the 15 other products Meade & D'Amore Engineering will be releasing because knowing Steve he got a few more tricks up his sleeve before we know it you will see an SMD product in every shop across the US.
  14. I just got that same EQ once I get it hooked up I will be able to make a determination on whether or not its any good. Got the clarion crossover to go with it.
  15. Congrats...Dirty Diapers, Sleepless Nights and being pissed on FTW ... Good luck I hope everything works out post pics
  16. Good shit congrats Steve!!! Another win for the Meade & D'Amore team.
  17. Nice damn it's always cool to see what people in different parts of the country do to their whips.
  18. If price isn't an issue why not get some Stinger or KnuKonceptz wire I have heard good and bad things about powerwerx but like with anything else some people like it some don't. You can get the Stinger for a really good price on darvex.com.
  19. LMAO sounds like fun there is a spot that I go to almost every week call the Filling Station and they have a few burgers that will scare the out of you there's the Luther (1lb of bee, onions, bacon and cheese in between two krispy kreme donuts) and then theres Adam's 18 Wheeler (9 burger patties, 9 slices of cheese, 9 buns) neither of which are easy to down. I tackled the luther but haven't taken a shot at Adam's 18 yet. but glad to see you made it out alive I always end up in a food coma.
  20. Anything from Directed whether it be Viper or Clifford will work just make sure it's installed right. The problem I have seen a lot are bad installs when it comes to alarms giving problems but the Viper 5901 is a badass alarm and most of my customers walk in asking for a viper or clifford every once in awhile I get the cheapskate asking for the $99 alarm we have on a banner in the shop but I always try and school people on the fact that you shouldn't go cheap when it comes to your car do it right or don't do it at all.
  21. My Mother absolutely hates Car Audio but that's because it's not only my Fathers hobby but his job as well so he does it 24/7. My Step-Father had a crazy system when I first met him but the car got stolen and he didn't do anything to his Charger. I been in it all my life and like Pimpn said I told my ol' girl straight up this is a hobby a very good hobby and I get to learn a lot about cars, electricals, and sound very big learning process in car audio it's not all about bass there is a thought process behind it all that people forget. If I were you I would break it down for them like I did my mom and tell them what really goes into it. Plenty of times I have had sleepless nights working on my own system but there are also times where I have made more money in a week on doing clients systems than I make on my day job in a year. Consider how you use it and show them the love you put into it. Car Audio is not like video games you can't just put it down people dumb it down like you go to best buy and get some subs and an amp and call it a day...I say in the words of David Spates WRONG WRONG. A lot involved in this hobby its your job to spread knowledge to those who don't know.
  22. IBLEEDMUSICK Florida 33131/33032 Miami-Dade/Broward Gas Money & A Demo or Come to me for FREE I have the DD-1
  23. Dammit okay gotta start saving to grab the CC-1 I mean it would only compliment my DD-1 because this thing is a big hit near me after I did the first system people went nuts at more power and no distortion.
  24. This is not true I've been installing at a flea market since I was 13. Well I was being taught when I was 13 . Been doing it since. And I'm now 19 and still installing there every weekend. And I use a dd-1 . I have to disagree my dad worked at a shop in the Flea and the shit they sold up their was ridiculous. Not only was it cheap but they sold it like it was top of the line. I have seen guys walk in there and spend money on a bunch of equipment just to get a vibrating trunk and a whole lot of bass with no mids and highs. Not to mention the advise given, corners cut and used shit sold as new. Dude was right though I have seen them go to their own cars and rip equipment out just to make that sell. It's a different world at the Flea Market most of the people that go there really don't know anything about car audio all they want is bass and don't care how it happens. A lot of Budget brands get sold as high end over there and its really funny to me. This is not to say you can't go and get a good system installed you just have to be extra careful and check everything you're buying. Know what you're getting into before you walk in the door.
