What makes them run hot though? Why don't they just fix that?

How the hell does that amp run your kids?.. That's just scary.. haha. Ohm load, and/or like cable said install some fans sure it wouldn't be to hard nor very expensive and would def make for a long lasting amp being that it won't overheat.

I was planning on doing so, but will this cause problems? I have seen numerous threads about voltage drop and the most common answer I see is people asking where they grounded there back battery. If it's going to cause a problem later, or even sooner I'd rather spend the money to ground it to the front battery. Sorry about the first post by the way, was a tad mixed up there on mobile.

The Hoodbatterie is naturaly grounded threw the frame. no doubt, my appoligies thank you for the help sir. This is my first system that is consisting of a rear battery and my question is, is how exactly do I go about hooking up the two batteries..
