I think that since you guys are reps and know more then us we would all love to know your thoughts. Im in the market for xls wich are sold out and it seams all.of the suden the forsale part of smd forums is full of xls wile last month didnt see to many. So will price be the same on the new xls?

I was in the market for some xls, but I might just have to ditch my old xl and waite a month till I hear whats up with new dc.Hint hints: thats why all of the suden dc is so high in for sale section good to know

So I called a local audio shop and they wants to charge me 80-160 to install it(they said they had to see it to determin how much it would be). I looks like all I have to do is unbolt the old, remove the pos and neg and the harness and replace with the new one is this right? It also said to replace the the pos and neg to at least 2 gauge wire( im doing 0 gauge) but do I still conect the original oem wires and then run my 0 gauge wire byside? My truck has a doube battery tray one on each side( got a d3400 coimg in with in the next few day) to wire it up should I just run a second 0 gauge power and ground direct from the alt or should I hook it up to the first battery? Its a shorter run from alt to second battery then from 1st battery to second battery.

So I was going to get a d3400 as a second battery under the hood(tryck has 2 trays) and keep the stock. Got ny mechman 270 ordered too. So should I: 1. keep stock with the d3400 untill stock goes out or I can buy an other( dont care if stock goes, if I remove it I wont use it again anyways) 2. Take out stock and use d3400, then later buy an other when I can( if I do replace stock off the bat should I go for the starter 3400?) Ps 3400 the biggest I can get in both hood location

Do an audiocontrol hi lo unit( what I have, lc6i to be exact ) there claim to fame is that normal coverters lose bass as volume goes up(bass bandit as they call it) but there units fix the problem so they say, think it might just be a bass boost but what do I know

What are them small boxes you have running after the amp? Fuses? I have sean a few amp the same way, should I do the same with my 5k

Kicker doesnt sell recones for l7s. I called about a blown 15 l7 and they told me if I sent it in they would sell me a new one for like 260. What a rip, I payed 500 for 2 brand new ones. Love the l7 looks in my opinion the sexyest lookin sub there is(love the square look) but onece there blown you have a paper weight. I would look into other brands that makes recones. For there subs or save up for a solo x. I guessing it thesame as the l7 but has easy recones

No on the onstar but I do have the oem headunit (nav, 6cd, back up cam, and I added an ipod conection plus most important clean look)

Well now I have an xl 12 underpowered by a dc 5k(have very low setting dont have the electrical yet) looking to get an other xl . Most of the songs I listen to are the loud long bass notes that over power my stock bose. Not looking to replace the bose( heards its hard to do without messing with the hole onstar and system) so im looking for comp in the kick panel up front and im still looking to put some in the back somewhere.

I got some refurshed beats by dre tours for like 50 well worth 50. Not so sure about the full retail of 160 but then again I dont think any earbuds should coast that much. Google refurbished beats by dre, if you can get them cheaper then reatail there worth it, by cheaper I mean half price at least.
