My type R components had an adjustment on the crossover to quiet them down a bit. Do the type s x-overs not have the same?

QUESTIONS

Um, we can't view pictures on your desktop. You need to move the pic over to photobucket and THEN post the link in here for it to show up. -
What amp to use with my MTX Thunder 6000's???
CleanSierra replied to 1996BLKBauer's topic in Amplifiers
I have the R150 and the birth sheet says it puts out 172 watts RMS. That would honestly probably be enough for the subs. Youve got 2 SVC 4 ohm subs, so they're gonna wire to a 2 ohm load. -
4x6 Speakers
CleanSierra replied to xxBeaudsxx's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
I've got reference 4X6's in my B-pillar for rear fill but I have them amped. They sound super crisp and clear, but you wanna cross them over around 120 Hz. If you're running that Bose amp, you might be ok and not have to worry about bottoming out. I can't remember what i paid for them, maybe 50 bucks? -
I did see that at the top, but you can't TELL by looking at it, what it was built for. Why are you interested in running such an old sub anyway? It likely isn't going to sound great. And it's also likely it wasn't built to handle very much power. Is there any indication of the impedance that its supposed to be run at?

An owners manual with specs^^^. Plenty of companies still make free air subs, like fosgate and clarion. It's what they put in boats.

You've never heard of the term free air? Infinite baffle? Do some googling.

Sorry for confusing you with the other guy. He was setting himself up for a nice house fire wiring a sub wrong to a home receiver. Back to YOUR topic, I'd just let the sub in the bandpass box STAY lonely and unpowered until you can do something proper with it.
