No amp brand is going to put "stable at .5ohms" . That would void the warranty on most amps. But alot of amps are stable at .5ohms and DC amps are definitely stable at .5 ohms. I would go with the 2 DC1.2ks and strap them. because if you wire each sub to its own amp you have to set the gains exactly same on both and thats REALLY hard to do. But if you strap them you can set the gain on the master and be done. Okay, thank you, I'll take that in mind...now to look for how to **STRAP** amps =) I'll get 2 1.2k dc amps...because I don't have a lot of space to deal with in my trunk so I cannot underpower my subs. fixed that for ya.^^^^^^^ And i have never done it but plan on doing it with the same amps when i get get my second one. But its not hard to do.

i bet it would work good with a the cone if you had them laying around. Would look sick too. especially looking at that full Dust Cap you did there.

dude Drayton we can make a vid this weekend of it playing, then you could stick your arm down there to see the subs and then it playing again. Or something like that... And i will be back this weekend and i will be bringing the lvl 2.

i use to smoke cigars and pipes and huka. None of them tasted good. i have had 1 cigarette and it was about the same to me. Then i realized how dumb it was and havent smoked sense. I also dont see how its hard for people to quit, just dont do it, but i am a soda addict and i can go without but literally water tastes like crap when i drink it too much. SO if quitting smoking is anything like that then i can see how its hard. lol... i feel like im not helping you but just use family or friends to help motivate you to stop. Get it in your head that your doing it for you kids or wife or whatever. That will help.

Dude i found out today that the girl who sits next to me in one of my classes, while we were working on a later after class project, i asked her why she missed class today and she said she was in the hospital. I asked why and she told me that the doctors found Cervical Cancer in her and she was having some troubles today and had to go to the doctor. Its so crazy. I really feel for her. Almost no one knows, just close friends, family, and me. Kinda hard for me to handle that she told me considering i barley know her. But i feel for her because my aunt had it, and has been cured, and my youth paster at my church fought a cancerous mass in his chest 3 times and is still going strong. You just never know.

you will spend less money building one yourself rather than buying one and be twice as happy with it....

im getting 1. if i didnt already have subs i'd get 2 or 3 and do 1 in my center console and 2 in a Tline in my trunk or something like that.... But only getting 1 for the console. Pretty pumped about it though.

i love this build but the only thing is that the the port looks like its being mostly covered by the seat. But i guess that was the best way to build the box. I love it though. and Love the custom design that you put on everything. keep it up.

do a seperate run of 1/0 to each amp from the back battery. And you will be good. Are they strapped at all? are they all sub amps or 2 monos and 1 4chan? edit: ninja'd

I think the SA 12s are about that. and they are great subs.

im going to school now for Computer Programming. I am already certified from the tech school i went to in Aircraft Maintenance and Assembly and AutoCAD. I planned on trying to get on at an entry level at Boeing when they first came here to SC but it was hard because there were so many people. Now after i get my Degree im hoping to get on at BMW, which there is a big plant here in town, or try boeing again, which is closer to home. But for a higher position now. Somewhere in the computer graphics/ design aspect of the fields.
