Just what the title says. I know its different from a ported box. like whats a decent good low number to tune to? and how much port do i need per cube?

I figured it would take a while to get here because i live on the east coast. But dang! It sucks because it was such a good deal too.

Ok so i ordered this 20 pack of 1/0 wire ring terminals from The_Wire_Zone on ebay for ~15 bucks. I payed on 10/17/11. I got an email a day or so after i placed the order with a tracking number on it. And i have been checking it pretty much everyday, and even today it says the same thing... It hasnt even shipped yet... Its still in Los Angeles over 10 days after i placed the order. I emailed them about a week after i placed my order to see what was going on and they emailed me back with this, and i quote..." Did you get it yet?"...... thats all the email said... So i am now trying to figure out how to cancel the order. Has anyone done any business with them? what do u mean by "any wire for big 3"??? like any size wire? because if ur planning on going bigger than that Bzr, down the road, ur gonna need big 3 with 1/0 wire. if u go smaller now then your gonna have to upgrade it again down the road.

i would try to run more than 3000 watts because those subs can handle more than RMS. Im thinking that you should run 2 amps that are ~2000rms at 1 ohm, and get the Dual 2 ohm voice coils, and strap the amps ..... Also the Hifonics HiFi series amps do NOT put out the power they say they do... just my 2 cents.

yeah do big 3 with 0 gauge and run the 4 gauge to your amp. Then use the rest of your 0 gauge for ground from your amp. If ur amp has 0 gauge inputs. Thats what i would do.

i got one from parts express. That im not gonna use. But i only have one. Since its not used i would charge whatever parts express charges. Literally never put together or anything. PM me if you are interested.

all of these are great. and the ones on the Right end will cut through 1/0 with ease and will stripe 1/0 if ur carful. lol

it just bends to fit. it doesnt have to bend as long as you get the right amount of length.

Ok got an update. I got my 1.2K in the other day so here it is. I've got it running a single DC lvl 3 12" right now probably only pushing like ~750watts. I also did the big 3 upgrade last night and replaced my battery with the SX S3400. Ill put pics up of that tomorrow. It was a very clean and easy install. Oh and here is my final design for my box. its a 4th order and tuned to about 44hz. gonna pound!!!

Dont buy something that your amp wont be able to power well and on the other hand dont buy a sub that wont handle the power of the amp and possibly blow ur sub. Try to Match the RMS of the sub to the RMS of the amp. But before you buy just any sub look around and listen to people's opinions, because there are subs that say they do alot of power but really only do half of what they say and their are subs that say they do low power but can easily handle twice the power. Now im not an expert but looking around this site and reading will really help you find the right set up for you.

Put up a link to the amp? is it 850wrms or maxx? what brand. if ur stuck on that amp because you dont want to spend more you should match your sub(s) with it.
