  1. Does DC still make 8in subs? If yes, lv2 8 d2 to 33710 No listing on the site at all for 8s.
  2. That's how it's done son, Boss FTW. Just put every sub you have ever owned in your ride. Ballin
  3. Hopefully just a bad amp ground. Ground loops can be a mofo to track down. Try a different amp ground.
  4. Your good to go with the sale then. No need for pics of item with date or 150 posts.
  5. Sub sonic filter protects subs from freq below box tune. Stop giving bad advice.
  6. Leave subsonic 2hz below box tuning, if ported. Turning the subsonic all the way down is a good way to bottom out a sub.
  7. P226 is a proven weapon, and the SR9 is really a different gun .The SR9 is striker fired plus all the guns N8 mentioned are as well. The SR9 has a polymer frame and holds more bullets. The P226 is a hammer fired metal frame gun. The SR9 is better compared to the guns N8 mentioned not the P226.
  8. Wrong. If driving a speaker with low power would cause them to fail, speakers would fail every time you lower the volume on the head unit. You must mean from clipping.
  9. this guy knows and told you wat kranny did Thanks!!! I was on these forums forever before I tried to start posting. I tried reading as much I could before I ever posted. I have learned alot by reading and there is so much more to go. just so arcade knows this amp puts out 1200x2 at 4ohms just so you know i checked the specs and i called lanzar Those are BS max specs, ya 1200x2 blowing up. lol The amp according to Lanzar is 300x2 at 2ohms.
  10. Your right, it's not that funny I read it wrong about the cap.
  11. Underpowering a sub will NOT mess it up! Where did you learn that? Did you mean clip?
  12. MA Audio HK 1397 This review is for the MA Audio HK 1397 2-channel (1600 Watt) amp. I have been using this amp for about 2 weeks now and i am impressed. I got it from my friend who used to push 2 15" L7's with it. i have it pussing 1 12" L7 (i have it at 2 ohm=700x2 with only one channel on it). this amp is clean and very powerfull. i also have a 16v cap so it get it's true power. this amp is very good for the money, i mean it's no Kicker or hifonics but for the price it's great. I would buy another for if i needed the extra power. The only flaw i have found is before i got my cap it did not seem like i got full power cause there rated at 14.4 volts and my stock system only runs at like 11. but with my cap it make up the difference and this is a pritty good clean powerfull amp. Hope this helps anyone with is looking at this amp......Matt This a funny review I found of the amp. HA HA HA
  13. Thanks alot for the info guys, I'm a no go on the Alpha then. Damm was hoping to just cover it up cause the Roadkill has a great bond. Kind of sad now, I need to get my Mojo up so I can remove the Roadkill. Thanks Jon for the tips I wish I'd of know about Second Skin before I installed Roadkill.
  14. I put Roadkill in my truck and it does ok. But I was wondering if it would be worth it to put some Alpha damp over the Roadkill? The Roadkill is sticking fine but I feel like my truck should have less rattling than it does. The Roadkill is installed on the doors, roof, and back wall of my truck. My subs and port fire up towards the roof. My amp is a T1500bd on T2 10s the old silver ones.
  15. Mine was an Alpine 3541 that I got around 1990ish. Nice little amp that I ended up giving to my sister. Too bad someone stole her car 80s Celica.
  16. If you want something to be different sure buy it. Looks kind of gimmicky to me.
  17. I'm with ya about the heat on and a door open, I can't stand waste like that myself. My wife loves to leave lights on all over the house. I can't win so I just turn em off. Anyways my point is don't let it bother you.
  18. Nice clean install on the car. BUT the lawn tractor WHAAAAAAAT. That's awesome you must have some yard.
