if its a money thing go for it. Bugs are fairly cheap to fix and very simple to work on. The one you showed looks pretty clean for its age and if you don't mind having no A/C and that kind of stuff. i would go for it. I have always wanted a bug. I have one at my shop that Im about to put a mechanics lien on, but its in way worse shape than that. -

Rock Island is a solid gun. I dont own one but I know a lot of people who use them in our comps for cowboy shooting. There is a class called the wild bunch which uses a 1911. We use Springfields and I also have a Colt. Have fun man!

Oh and i see you have a 2000 year I'm assuming that you have over a 100k in mileage. Not a good idea to put a turbo on a worn out motor. You would want to rebuild the motor on top of the turbo.
