    You can correctly tune your amp by either using an O-Scope or a DD-1(better,cheaper option) to make sure you're not clipping. Doing it by ear is bad idea cause the human ear can't detect less than 3% distortion on bass.

    Seriously love my new headunit, no more stock one with cassette adapter anymore. Now I can actually enjoy the radio, use gps, use a cd player, and the 24 bit dac is a nice touch for my lossless music on my ipod also.

    If you have no other source of playing music, besides radio, then I say go get the ipod, though I do have to say, the ipod classic is a lot more durable than the itouch. If you do have other sources of playing music, then get the sub.

    Maybe build a new box for the Kenwoods since the current one you have looks like a prefab. Edit: Sound deadening is a good idea too

    Audio-Technica I own a pair of ATH-M50's and they sound great, though they are built for monitoring also.

    Sweet, I have the same amp Though I have it wired at 2 ohms on my CVR, I'm afraid to wire it down to 1 ohm.

    "Double bass" sounds muddy on a sealed enclosure, it sounds alot better on ported.

    Yeah, a crappy sub in a proper enclosure will sound better than a good sub in a bad enclosure. My CVR12, which is a decent sub, ever since I built a proper enclosure for it, it sounds great on rap yet it can also do the breakdown from Asking Alexandria very well, and the CVR isn't really for sound quality.

    I don't find it wrong it either, put them in a proper enclosure, and they'll sound good, and for $65, it's really hard to find better.
