  1. Oh okay, got me there i suppose lol second ones hands down btw
  2. Paint before wheels IMO.. Havin huge wheels and no paint doesn't look as nice paint and stock wheels IMO
  3. Its an lt1 383? Never seen anyone do one before.. In the lt4 kit what are you going to get? Heads cam? Because if it's a true 383 and someone spent the money doing it, it should have a set of head and cam set to flow correctly, so changing it might actually result in a loss of power by dropping the c:r and changing the rpm curve.. Just a heads up And most n/a built stroker kits are done with a little higher compression as well to add more power without f/I so if you do a supercharger be careful I would hate to see your piston on the outside of the block! That's said nice car dude, nice to see people with these cars instead of mustangs too
  4. No the 99 up 4.8 5.3 6.0 bracket will not work, you must have one that will fit the older votec engines.
  5. Persoanlly I think the 360 still has a few years left.. Microsoft will prob announce something 2013.. I for see 2015 being a good year for electronics
  6. It won't kill your low end just wont be as strong down low, but you will need to be a little more careful on how much power your pushing to it, if your over powering it you may do some harm playing a lot of lows for whatever reason... All in all I personally don't see a problem say you should be perfectly fine
  7. I like math and all, but seeing this I don't miss it... GL in future assignments lol
  8. I would do it by either sweeps or test tones, and have a bunch o songs/CDs with you for different frequencys.. Find your freq and use a track that has majority that frequency.. Now I'm not positive on this.... but a Long bass note will actually build more pressure in the cabin and bring your score up more so than a quicker note that hits hard... As long as your voltage doesn't drop... But I may be wrong on that one
  9. Hmm, so tune to around 42hz? And I like a very flats basey sound, to muh tone just sounds off to my style unless soloing when u want to actually cut thru.. But how many rock songs does a bass actually get a solo
  10. Those plye are Replacment woofers, 50-4k hz range.. Cheap but they can always be upgraded later on to some eminence or a better brand.. I just wonder how it would sound and stuff... Compared to my single 15 combo http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=350485668640&cmd=VIDESC&index=0&nav=SEARCH&nid=65131605254
  11. I wonder how lower end car audio subs would react in this kind of application... With a nice full stack for guitar and a decent 8x10 cab and head for bass, along with my set, pa setup for vocals and spare laptop I could have a ghetto recording studio... But I'm thinking 8 35 dollar Pyle 10 inch subs single 8 ohm.. Then 2 cabs of 4 Celestion rocket 50s in each..
  12. I was thinking of more a single slot in the bottom tuned at around 33 hz I always used to drool over a hartke cab.. But I think I can make it myself and get exactly what I want.. I was also looking in to doing a full stack for y guitar too
  13. Anyone ever do anything like this, I play bass guitar and never really thought about building my own custom can until recently.. Anyone have any info on this? Are they just a normal ported cab or t line or what? I kinda want to throw one together to do small local gigs and stuff and for messing around with a garage band.. Any info helps
  14. I was at a meca comp but I was there way early and talked to the people runnin it, explained I had never done it before and then when I pulled up for the official run they let me figure out what my peak freq was before I layed anything official down.. They was pretty cool..
  15. Well of course I'm willing to negotiate, Prices are obo, and idk if the warranty is transferable but they still have 10 months of warranty
  16. Bought and used for a month, so they are less than two months old. I have 4 of them and asking High to give room to negotiate... I know I'm not going to get 100 per sub.. Would rather sell in pairs... 100 plus shipping each 180 plus shipping pair 340 plus shipping for all of them Subs are flawless, more pics or cool reding upon request
  17. Anyone know if companies would ship a set out without any coating of any kind? I want to custom spray my own and don't want to have to deal with sanding down their paint nor messing with painting the chrome either
  18. Anyone have any luck wrapping their entire dash in vinyl? I don't have very much experience in the covering of curved objects, or parts that fit snugly together.. So idk how it would work... Any advice or tricks? I want to do it to mine maybe when I start recovering my seats next week
  19. Wrong. If driving a speaker with low power would cause them to fail, speakers would fail every time you lower the volume on the head unit. You must mean from clipping. This thread needs to die.. To much bs... If op has any other input good.. If not let it die already
  20. Idk if it's still around but I used to run rammat, it was pretty damn good IMO just shy of 150db and not a rattle one and barley any flex from 2 layers Edit Found it, 60mill http://www.raamaudio.com/products/RAAMmat-BXT-II.html
