  2. odds are the place with 50 for selection will make a good black and tan... black velvet is the same concept as black and tan but with Guiness and Cider...it may not be familiar everywhere, not many people have heard of them...Just make sure they don't give you a shot of BlackVelvet...lol http://www.ideasden.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/black-velvet-drink.jpg and yes the Banana Bread is awesome!
  3. I have been on the Hard Cider kick for a few years now... Magners Cider is the smoothest least tart Strongbow is good just a bit sour....a bunch and you could get sick easy Neil House Cranberry Cider....local and delicious Guiness....sometimes we get a BlackVelvet which is half Magners half Guiness...these are great too Wells Banana Bread....this shit is amazing! Young's Double Chocolate Stout when I go tailgating its Bud Light so we go all day long...lol there are a few bars here with insane selections....World of Beer has over 500bottles to chose from and 50drafts that rotate weekly...here is their bottle menu it's nuts http://wobusa.com/Locations/BreweryDistrict/Menus/Bottles.aspx
  4. is this amp blown yet?....sub'd for the aftermath.... i mean you asked advice, and then ignored every bit of it...if you had your mind made up regardless why even ask?
  5. 150 easy...with just listing amp and possible subs?.....
  6. even with a shitty interest rate of say 6% 14000 loan 1000down 6% 60months -------------- 251.32 monthly 14000 loan 1000 down 6% 72months -------------- 215.44 monthly as for down payment, as much as you can afford to spend/save will help to lower your payment or get the payment where you want and maybe shorten the term of the loan...I would try for 10-15% of the loan...so on 14k that would be 1400-2100...that's not bad really here are a few rough payments based on a 6% interest rate 14000 loan 1400 down 6% 60months --------------- 243.59 14000 loan 2100 down 6% 60months --------------- 230.06 14000 loan 1400 down 6% 72months -------------- 208.81 14000 loan 2100 down 6% 72months -------------- 197.21
  7. another thing to consider if your looking at a 72month payment is that you don't want a high mileage car that's already 5years old then paying on it for 6years while piling more miles on it...nothing worse than making payments and then shit starts to breakdown/wear out from high miles... the best thing to do is to save as much as possible for down payment...if your going to have a cosigner get a preapproved loan from a bank/credit union, you have a way better chance of not getting fucked by the dealership if you go in with a preapproved amount ready to go....do not inquire on your credit score until you are applying for financing as every inquiry lowers your credit score slightly and that could be enough to keep you from getting financed....now if I were you I would look to get approved before the end of December if possible as alot of dealerships are more willing to work with you around year's end, as every car not sold this year has to have taxes paid on it by the dealership...most people don't know that, and dealerships also will rape you around tax return season in the spring as they know people will be willing to give up huge down payments and take the same interest rates as usual...trust me I have family that worked for dealerships and they let me know how it is.... depending on how much you drive you may want to also look into leasing with the option to buy....if you can keep the mileage low enough that when your lease is up you can finance it to buy at less than it's worth you can possibly get a really low payment for say 3-4 years after leasing it for a relatively low payment for 2-3 years... for example my mom leased with option to buy 07 Ford Edge, she had 17k miles on it after her 3year lease was up and option to buy it for $14k, bluebook was $20k-22k so in a since she was buying a 3year old vehicle worth $20k-22k for $14k....this is a great option if you dont drive alot... just a couple things to think about
  8. well I will tell you get that money....if your even questioning if your girl will be faithfull with you out of town for 3weeks at a time...it's time to get rid of her... these days high school sweetheart shit seems to just turn into 22year olds that have been divorced twice!.... stack cash and get you a house....take it from me, I was making stupid money when I was 19-21(got preapproved for a mortgage at 20) but pissed it all away and then fucked around an quit that job, and havent made anywhere close to that much since!....just keep your priorities and set goals like a house by the time your 25 or whatever and go all out to reach them...don't let anything or anyone get in your way!...you have plenty of time to settle down and get married or whatever...
  9. you can't sell on here without 150 posts
  10. the 45s in the corners are to help with getting the air to flow better out of the box....it's not required but it would help with performance a little
  11. just asking, but would a sealed enclosure have less problems with flex or resonance? I was just wondering because isn't a CF enclosure similar to a fiberglass enclosure in terms of resonance? I mean people make door/kick panels out of fiberglass too, couldn't you make CF door/kick panels that would perform the same? this idea has Rear folding seat, flush mount CF box written all over it
  12. from his post explaining SQ scoring...he is saying that matching sub/amps are more pleasing to the eye....
  13. why get rid of Fogs?...cant you just turn them on as your DLR?...same concept and they are already there....I know thats how my 96GrandAm was...just used my fogs like DRL if I had to choose it would be "B"...as they blend the best and look stockish in that location...
  14. sounds like he was saying he has subs firing up into the trunk lid
  15. if you can fit these dimensions I would do this....the dimensions in your first attempt wouldn't work correctly
  16. the subs are .16 displacement each...so .32 together...also they recommend 1.5cubes per sub...now with the dimensions you posted its gonna be tough to get 3cubes tuned down to 35hz with .32 when your gross volume started at 3.25cubes
  17. recommended 1cube for ported...if your underpowering it which you are you might want to make it a little bit bigger.... you can make a box similar to this 10h x 32w x 15d with port 8.5h x 2.5w x 31L will tune you to 35hz and 1.3cubes thats with an extra baffle i would make it so the port would have 3 walls pieces similar to this design on a smaller scale http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=313193928702483&set=a.211000055588538.52999.210979035590640&type=3&theater
  18. my 2005 Grand Cherokee doesn't have as much room as you would think..I also built the box to be able to go under the cargo cover so its covered up when not playing...you have plenty of room..I would make sure to do sub up and port back if possible..I didnt have the room to do port back so i did drivers side port up...
  19. i have a DC level3 18 and a 1.2k on it...i would say depending on what your putting it in its a fine setup... maybe the aluminum coil AQ hdc3 18 and AQ1200 would be better I am probably going to do a rebuild in the next couple months...just not as loud as I was hoping for.. no experience with any other 18s mentioned
  20. pods look great... just a question...is the rear drivers side wheel curbed...in the one photo is looked like the black on the lip at the bottom was skuffed off or is that glare?
