Hey guys so I've been searching around for a tonneau cover for my truck and i cant find one. The thing is I want a fiberglass hardtop tonneau cover and every place i email say they dont have and dont make hard top covers for my truck fml. So what i want to know is if there is anyone on this forum that knows someone who does custom covers or shit i might try and make one myself! but i dont have a damn clue on how to go about making one Just so you guys know its a 1979 gmc pickup with a stepside shortbed

im running a soundstream tx4.440 bridged at 4 ohm and its fine. it gets hot after long periods of playing at full blast but thats bcuz your using the full amount of output your amp has to offer.

I love how you say Type R's dont get that loud. Ive ran them for awhile now and in the right box on good power they will do decent numbers and get pretty loud. As to the op we cannot tell you yes or no. It depends on how well the box is designed. my opinion is 2 12s have more cone area so if the box is designed right should be your choice. But i dont own the vehicle and i didnt design the boxes so try them both and tell us how it sounds thats true also theres many factors that will make either option sound louder i was just saying from what ive heard myself. your setup is probably much better then my friend with two type r's lmao but thats what ive heard. With enough experience i think someone can take any subs good or bad and make it sound decent! thats why i want more experience! lol

IMO alpines pretty good bass but dont get as loud as some other subs that ive heard! this website is for people to learn about all kinds of car audio so yeah most of us are noobs then! im going to say hell yes! alpines dont get that loud anyways but usually if you make a good box 1 15 will be louder than two 12's. especially with that brz that SA is gonna scream!

carpet could do it! it happened to me. just try and lift the carpet or you can cut around the bolt. Then before you re mount your ground make sure there isnt any paint. just to be safe and cross it off the list id unbolt the seat belt and grind the metal! hope that helps!

Thanks and yeah!! I'm actually gonna be running to x3 15's with the xxx15000d amp. Now I'm gonna have to save some money for DC alternators and alot of batteries!

I know what your talking about I was just wondering because I heard about some other people running a class d amp to run their mids. I'm gonna be getting a couple four channels amps to power all of them. yeah im rethinking it and will probably have one or maybe two tweeters in each door with two 6.5s and one 8 inch sub. so thats 8 tweeters 8 6.5's and 4 8 inch subs. reason why im wondering about mono amps is to have less amps to hook up. also like i said its going to be a blow through so the back seats are going to stay. im getting captains chair in the back and im taking out the console in the middle so you can see the blow through from the bed. so im gonna go look at my buddy's silverado so i can see how many amps i can put under seats!
