the older alpines i had didn't have a really good sub sonic filter for the sub out and it let some of the midrange reach the subs does the subs hit lows too? or just highs? and how long have they been in cause most subs need to be "broke in" to get to there full potential, some of my subs are stiff as shit and dont like lows but after playing them a lil while they love it now, it just loosens up the spider to let the sub move a lil better and easier im not a speaker builder but mine do this and there not real top of the line but when they did come out they where $300 each so they aint that bad and is the box u got them in ported or sealed?

what would really help here is what kinda headunit do u have running this setup, does it have 3 preouts or 2 or 1? what kinda amp are u running them with? do u have another amp running ur mids n highs and if ur headunit has a sub adjustment it might be set to high

when i did my big 3 i just ran a wire str8 from alt to battery but i put a 150amp fuse inline of it just in case, and ground from engine block to chassis, and from battery neg to chassis i need to run a wire from my battery neg to my alt casing ied run the wire from alt to battery, most people say no need in fuse, i say fuse everything cause a fuse is always cheaper than a new car anyways good luck and i was told its best to leave factory wireing cause how much can it hurt with running 1/0 and 4guage from alt?

that amp looks like an older belle amp, if it was one ied keep it i got an older newer pr 16.1000.1 and the retail for it was like $564 or so, i got it for $280 or so new on sale memphis is good stuff i got a pr 150.2 and a pr 1000.1 and love em to death, i wish i could have gottin that pr 100.4 for $70 when they had it on ebay, now it went up to $260 or so and they will keep it at that price

buddy that owns a shop had a 12'' ma sub with that same surround forsale used and the damn spider was so loose u could bottom out the sub with just 2 fingers hardly pushing down on it i had some of there older black 10's but all i got left is 1 10 and it sounds good for what it is tho ma audio to me is alot like visonik in a way, good amps from both of em but subs are ehh lol how much power was this going to em? oh ya, buddy had 2 8'' d4's that look like those 15's that a friend of mine had in there kick panels, i put em in my bookshelf speaker boxs and they sounded real good, and there hella beefy tho

can u make some sort of passive radiator for like sq guys or w/e and u got anything i can refoam a jl wo 10, and 12 with or recone em? they sounded real good but the shit foam surround sucked and started peeling and then my nefew filled the vc gap full of elmers glue when i was trying to fix it, it still works but i unno and how u comeing along with those mtx 8000's? ied love to keep the mtx look just have new parts in it the vc's are still in good or great condition but the tinsels are shit, can u desolder them and prolly swap it out with a new spider with woven leads in it? dunno if that possable tho, i asked mtx and they said they didn't want to, just wanted me to trade em in for something else, i said fuk it and kept wangin on em

quality shit bro, marantz is a good brand, i got one of there older home recivers thats like 400w 4ch and i got something like this but its from jensen and is 80w x4 a lil info for other people on what this is u take ur deck, or factory radio speaker wires and run them threw this and it boosts the wattage and gives u more adjustments rather than just a bass and treble adjustment, makes for a cleaner sound and lets u send more power to stock or aftermaket speakers without a new deck if u like ur headunits features i got one but i got it hooked to an old pioneer tape player but would be sick for a center console job for a stock system hope this aint thread jacking, just trying to help him sell this and educate other people that dont kno what this thing is, i still dont kno why other people dont try and come out with a new one of these, would be kick ass tho
